What can I do to keep my nails pretty?
I bought polish to do the french manicure. The polish dried very fast and I was inpressed. The next morning the looked very professional. I was proud of myself. After getting dressed for work I noticed that the polish had started to chip and later peeling. What did I do wrong? My nails were all clean before I polished them and I was very careful that each application dried between application. Question posted by Ora Lusk Tue Jun 28 2005

Couples steps you can take: get a good base coat, top coat, nail polish thinner, and try not to put too many coats of polishes on. Well, if all fail, get professional help

Nails bend but polish doesn't. Short of getting fake nails, polish will always chip off real nails especially if you have more flexible nails. I found a product that really helps "bind" the polish is something with Fluoride in it as a Base Coat. Also, don't make the polish super thick. I seem to get a few days longer out of a paint job with the Flouride base.
