Really disguises a thinning area. Works as well as similar more expensive products.
Buy it and dont look back!

I have been using toppik for years now for a small front cover up and have always loved it. Then decided to give this a try since it was inexpensive. Woah was I surprised..... provides a thicker cover without that redish tint toppik gives off. A lot cheaper too. Overall a super product and will be the only thing i order unless they go out of business!!!!

I am a 47 year old woman suffering from hair loss. It began years ago, and has just been devastating emotionally. I've tried multiple shampoos and scamp solutions, but to no avail. I've tried vitamins, but
they didn't help. Aside from hair transplants, I believe there is really nothing I can do to get my hair to grow back. My hairdresser told me her mom was using something that "shakes on" the head to cover the thin areas. I looked at her like she was crazy, but came home and searched the internet. I found organin. I have never tried anything like this before. I used it today, and I couldn't be happier. Even my son noticed it right away and said whoa mom, did your hair grow back? I am so very pleased. TRICK: I part my hair off to the side, sprinkle. Part to the other side, sprinkle. Part in the middle how I usually style it, use a long letter opener to block the parted area so the color doesn't get there, and sprinkle again. I loosely shake my hair so the particles will fall thru a bit toward the scalp, and then spray my hair spray. I mean it, I couldn't be happier unless my hair grew back!

This product does cover up. The only bad thing is that too much product comes out of the can, so you have to be careful when applying. And also the product gets all over the sink, floor, etc.
What did they do to Organin?

I have been using Organin for over two years with good results. Then suddenly with the last two bottles, the product changed. It is now difficult to get the fibers to shake out of the container, and when the fibers do land on my hair, they don't stick at all, and instead land on my forehead, eyebrows and scalp - and yes - all over the bathroom sink. Organin has changed something and the product is now terrible. It may be a quality control problem from their supplier. I would really like to know where this product is made (I think I know!) I am not the first to notice this problem, look at the other reviews. I hope they can fix this problem but its too late for me, I'm switching to Megathick or Toppix. Its actually true; "you get what you pay for!"

I've been using Toppix for years - decided to try this product after reading the reviews. The coverage is significantly better --- high recommended and glad I made the switch.

As good as Toppik and Super Million Hair but much cheaper. Also does not cause itching as the natural wool fibers in Toppik does.

Organin has better colors and makes your hair look shinier than Toppik. But Toppik gives better "ground cover". So what I do is I first use Toppik in a color slightly lighter than my hair color, then use a light sprinkle of Organin in a color matching my hair color. The result is nearly perfect!

This product has really worked for me. My hair is thinning as it does for all females in my family but this product fills in what I call the headlight areas. It didn't take long to figure out how to use it to the best advantage. Will buy again!

The Toppik hair thickener is just wonderful, but I wasn't prepared for the fantastic surprise that was in store for me when I tried Organin! Organin spreads evenly and rubs in completely and very thoroughly. My head of hair looks like it did when I was 25, and I'm 67!
Organin is, for me, the ultimate hair thickener. It washes out easily and goes on even easier. I can't praise it enough! Thank you!

Excellent product, better and more afforadable than Toppik. Learn to use it properly as less is better. Try shaking the bottle at a 75 to 80 degree angle rather then straight down toward the top of your head. It will come out at a slower pace, but will still cover and not be too thick. Too much of anything is never a good thing. Hope this helps!

I find this product to be great. However when you apply theproduct the wholes on the lid are not very big this having to use more ofthe product. so if this can be made with the shaker bottle being alot larger to apply onto scalp I belive I would like it alot better

I have looked into so many different ways to make my hair look thicker, and I could not find anything that would really work, be quite easy to use, and look so natural.
I am a 19 yr old male, and while many people will criticize this review and say that my hair must not be too terribly thin, my hair began thinning drastically in my first year of college. I used to have long, thick hair that I could bleach, dye any color i want, and style all sorts of ways. I began losing my hair and i ended up shaving my head because it was so embarassing. I looked into all of these products, started using rogaine, and after a couple months of use, I needed more. I bought organin the other day, I dyed my hair black again like I had previous to the shave, and styled my hair with a little gel. I sprinkled organin on the top, sprayed my hair with some hairspray, and my hair looked like it used to! It was so much thicker, and my scalp was no longer showing! i love this product!!
oh, and also, it does stay on very good, i found none on my WHITE PILLOWCASE!

I like this product better than toppik. It is also cheaper. I stopped using toppik.

Since I switched from Toppik to Organin, I have been pleased with how well the color matches my own (dark brown). The fibers a more "clumpy" and not as natural-looking as Toppik. But, you don't lose as much of the fibers into the air as Toppik. Overall, the price is better and the color is good.

I bought this product in 2006 and just love it. With blonde hair you could see my scalp with my thinning hair. After I blow dry my hair I sprinkle some of this on, then spray hairspray on my hair, and wowwwwwwwwwwww its there for the day.. Everyone commends on my hair and no one knows I have a bad hair problem with thinning. Excellent product..

I have used this product for about 7 months and just received a new bottle. The packaging has changed for the worse - now the bottle is smaller and opaque and you have to shake the bottle very vigorously for the product to come out properly. I do really like this product and find that it covers thinning very effectively. I just wish I didn't have to work as hard with the new bottle. I hope the company goes back to the old packaging - the older version was easier to use. Looks I will be trying something different next time around.
