I bought the new replacement tips. I bought 5 or 6 boxes. Several arrived bent. They replaced them no problem. They bend much easier then the old tips. Have to be very careful.

I've been using One Touch stylet tips for years and there is definitely a change not only in the packaging that does not properly protect the tips, but also in the tips as they are not as firm as they use to be and bend very easily. Obviously, they are being made cheaper. Hopefully it was just the three boxes I recently purchased.

I BOUGHT 3 BOXES OF THE ONE TOUCH REPLACEMENT TIPS ONE BOX WENT INTO THE TRASH AS THE TIPS WERE BLUNT ENDED & WOULD NOT GO INTO THE PORES. THE SECOND BOX WAS PERFECT. HAVE NOT HAD TO TRY THE THIRD BOX YET. I WOULD DEFINITELY HESITATE BEFORE ORDERING AGAIN.

The stylet tips are thin - so they do not hurt to use them. However, they bend really easily. They didn't bend during use I just forget to put the tip away when I set it down. The replacement process is fairly easy.

If you are careful, they won't bend!

I ordered 3 extra boxes of stylet tips for my One Touch, because I had read that they bend so easily. I am still using the original stylet that came with my One Touch...as long as you are careful and treat it gently (not that it will treat YOU gently! Ha!) it works great and so far has not bent. However, I'm using it on my face, not my legs. That could make a difference since the skin on my legs is much tougher. Good luck to all who order...when used properly, the One Touch system works!

I bought 3 sets of replacement needles with my One-Touch. All 6 of them were bent from bouncing around in the oversized box with no packaging inside. Half of them were useless and the other half were difficult to work with. Once the tiny wire gets bent it will never be straight again.
You will need them at some point.

The machine works great. It is easy to bend the stylet tips. You can straighten them with tweezers but inevitably they WILL break. At 5.95 for 2 it pays to stock up.
Stylet tips for electrolysis

The stylet tips are very easy to replace and they work very well. The only problem I have is they tend to bend very easily. When that happens you can straighten them out with a tweezer and that works but they're never as straight as new.
Easier to use than expected...

I've been using the One Touch home electrolysis for awhile now and the stylet tips are easier to use than I originally thought they would be. The only complaint I have is that when inserting a new stylet tip, if they are not perfectly straight it gets hung up on the inside when you go to move the stylet tip out of the pen and bends it beyond repair. Make sure the stylet tip is absolutely 100% straight before you replace it or you might end up bending it as I have several times.

Electrolysis is a painful hair removal process

Electrolysis is a painful hair removal process. It is extremely painful and leaves hole-like sores and bad scars around the hair pore. It requires patience, practice, concentration , and good dexterity. But, it works after a few sessions and regrowths per hair. The hair either did not grow back at all or grew back thinner and I had to give the hairs another session.
