| NonyX Nail Gel offers a new solution to the problem of unsightly toenails and
fingernails. NonyX Nail Gel uses a two step approach to achieving great looking toenails
and fingernails. First, it breaks down and exfoliates built-up keratin debris,
the source of nail discoloration that results in nails looking unsightly, yellow
and dark. Second, it thoroughly cleanses the nail to keep it looking clear and
healthy. Directions: Apply a thin coating (one or two drops) of NonyX Nail Gel twice daily to the surface of discolored nails, and under the tip of thickened nails. Do not apply under nails thinned by use of acrylic nails. Allow gel to set for several minutes before covering with footwear. Always try to apply after bathing, showering or swimming. Using an emery board, gently roughen the flat surface of nails once a week to enhance gel adhesion. This bottle contains 4 ounces of NonyX Gel and should last 3 to 4 months, depending on the number of nails receiving gel. Look for improved color and softened keratin debris build-up under the nail in 3 to 4 weeks. Overall nail appearance will improve over time as keratin debris exfoliates with continued use of NonyX Gel. NonyX Gel will not penetrate through nail polish, but may be applied prior to using polish as often as twice daily. To keep nails looking clear, apply 3 times weekly after bathing.This 4-ounce bottle is a 3 to 4 month supply, depending on the number of nails receiving daily applications. I only wish I had taken photos before I started, but I honestly didn't expect much. The nails on my big toes are both affected; the right one has been like this for 20 years, and I've been looking for a solution ever since. The oral medication available is risky to take and very expensive, even with insurance, and must be take for 9 months or longer.
Because the right one has been bad for so long, the nail had gotten too thick for me to clip. I had to try to chip pieces off to make it shorter, and on the right side I couldn't even get the clippers under it. In addition, it was actually twisting to the right. I was considering going back to the doctor. Then I saw a Nonyx ad and decided to try that first.
Boy, am I glad I did! I've been using Nonyx since just before Thanksgiving. I've had significant improvement with the color and thickness. I can actually clip the right nail as it grows out, and it's actually shifting back toward center. It does take some effort to get the product to work properly, like with filing down. To see the improvement I have, though, makes it entirely worth it.

Works great, but I also recommend using Tea Tree Oil on a q-tip to soak under the nail and taking an anti-fungal supplement like OregaMax, Candibactin-AR, or Grapeseed Extract.
If you have a systemic (spread inside you) fungal infection your nails will not improve until that is dealt with.
 You Have To File Your Nail Bed

I was frustrated after receiving this product and finding out that you have to file your nail bed down twice a day before applying. They never mentioned this on the web site. I stay very busy and have this on nine toes. I just don't have the time (or patience) to do this so often over a long period of time. Had I known this when I found it I wouldn't have ordered it.
However, I did go ahead and put it on without filing and noticed it did help and did lighted the color and make it less noticeable. My advice is that if you have time to file (sand down) every day, or you just want to make it a little better, this will probably be great for you. If not, and you're like me and don't have time to file every day, you'll be disappointed. Good luck!

I've used this only once a day rather than the recommended twice and have seen improvement in less than two weeks. I have a couple of nails that look completely different (normal, healthier) than they used to, and even the worst ones are gradually getting back to normal. I didn't believe it would work, but it does.

I had a big toe nal that was so lifted up fro it's bed that it got caught on a fringed rug and tore almost all the way off. i had to have it removed in a doctor's office. As it grew out, I applied Nonyx every morning to the nail bed and the top of the nail. Although my new nail still does not adhere to the nail bed, it is flatter and smoother.
