horrible! I have color treated hair that is thin. I used nioxin #8 for 4 months. I know they say increase in hair shedding is common the first 2 weeks, but my hair shedding got worse and continued for months. now my hair appears to be even more thin. and to make matters worse it made my hair so dry! there is no shine and my hair is dull dry and thin. as soon as i stoppeed it and used another brand of hair product, my hair instantly looked better. THis is the 2nd time I gave nioxin a chance, but my hair just looks awful right now, worse than when i first started. I am so dissapointed and now I have to try and get some moisture back in to my hair..

I am a 27yr male with course (from collage stress) thinning hair and a sensitive scalp. Until I was suggested to try Nioxin's system products, I had problems with various cleansers causing me to itch my scalp & in general very irritating. This is the only product I've found so far that has resolved my problem.
do not buy unless you want hair to fall out and have zero moisture!!

This product is horrible. It stripped my hair of all natural oils and excessive hair fell out! I would not recommend for anyone unless the above is your goal. I had to put straaight oil in my hair and it is still dry.

I'm using system 5 three step hair treatment with varying degree of success. Hair loss has decreased somewhat but still shedding. The spray on weighs down hair so I only use it at night before sleep.
