Good Start, but gets better (12 months)

okay, so I read a few reviews here and I have decided to respond since I have been using the Nioxin starter Kit for exactly one year. I guess at age 30 you could say I started to notice something, but nothing that would qualify as "bald". At 33 people told me that I was giving a bald spot, and I continued to just blame it on my hair being styled poorly that day. Finally one year ago I caved in at age 35. My hairstylist recommended this particular starter Kit and I used it every day for the first four months.
I have been waking up spitting hair out of my mouth almost every single morning. And when I went outside in the rain, I could actually feel the raindrops hit my scalp. It was time to do something! I cannot say for certain that this product will regrow hair,but I can tell you that immediately within the first two weeks I stopped noticing my hair falling out. The picture of me today looks better than it did a year ago, I can't imagine what it would look like if I didn't use the Nioxin. After going through three starter kits I decided to buy the large bottles of shampoo, and scalp conditioner. I have also switched to the follicle booster instead of using the scalp treatment spray. I just smear on the follicle booster at night on my crown and hairline, and in the morning used cleanser and conditioner, and my hair has looked great ever since.
I was shocked at the amount of redness!

I used the Nioxin system but I ran into a problem with the Scalp Treatment. I only sprayed a few sprays and it ran down the side of my face. I have short hair. I had a very red streak/splotch down the side of my face. My shoulder and arm had large red patches on them from the spray. I was horrified. This did not appear as "some" redness. This product should not be used on anyone. No pictures, as I am saving them to show my attorney. By the way, make the emergency line on the bottle a "real" emergency line.

i try this product once and i have not switch to other expensive products it seems like the nioxin works great and affordable.

i stated to use the product about 6 months ago and I'm really starting notice the difference. My hair was very fine, now it full and bouncy.
Are you on the PEGASYS Treatment...

If you are NIOXIN is the only Shampoo & Conditioner to use.
There is nothing better out there than NIOXIN it's EXCELLENT!
Please pass it on it's done wonders for me and it's great. The biggest misconception is that this is only for people who are loosing their hair. Trust me I been using it while I was on PEGASYS and after I continued using it because after dying my hair, it felt course (like wire) and using NIOXIN makes may hair soft and silky. I get compliments from my sister who is a hair stylist and my husband. Please try it specially if you abuse your hair like me.

Haven't noticed hair getting any thicker, but my hair doesn't fall out in clumps in the shower like it used to, or on my hairbrush. But if I wash my hair with anything else even for a day (like when I go on vacation & use a travel shampoo), then my hair falls out in massive amounts.

i HAVE BEEN UDING NIOXIN FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS NOW AND I AM AMAZED WITH THE RESULTS. MY HAIR HAS GROWN SO MUCH. I AM GETTING SO MANY COMMENTS ON HOW ONG IT HAS GOTTEN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO EVERYONE.

If you use a lot of product in your hair, this will wash it out. When you wash out all the build up that products leave your hair will look fuller and thicker because its not being weighed down. I like it because it leaves your scalp feeling minty-fresh. As far as new hair growth, Ill let you know....

i like the hair product its had worked well for me im 30 and started losing my hair fast but used nioxin and its has slowed down in a big way

I'm 51 and have had thin and thinning hair most of my adult life and normally would have to use a hair dryer just to make my hair look half way decent. My daughter in-law who is a hair stylist recommended this product and I scoffed at it as probably being some new hyped up product and thought the price was ridiculous but I purchased it anyway. I took it home and tried it and on the FIRST treatment I thought WOW, this REALLY works! I've been using this for two months now and I no longer use a hair dryer and my hair honestly looks better than it EVER has! I didn’t tell anyone I was using this product and EVERY friend I have has commented on my hair. Most seem to think that I went in for some kind of overnight hair transplant thing.. I've also found that even when my hair is exposed to the rain it doesn’t get all frizzed out and out of control and I feel like I got the hair of my youth back.. This stuff is truly AMAZING to say the least!!!

this system works only for holding on to existing hair but not for hair regrowth, as i noticed thinning i started using this system and noticed less hair fall..almost 6 months now and i am happy with what i have..
