For decades, dermatologists and hair clinics in Europe and Japan have been using Light Therapy (also referred as PhotoTherapy) for fuller, thicker and healthier looking hair. Combining laser therapy with LED Light Therapy into one, the Neolight Laser Brush is a breakthrough solution for thinning hair and hair loss in men and women. HOW THE NeoLight LASER BRUSH WORKS Light therapy or phototherapy is the application of light energy to the skin/scalp for therapeutic benefits. It is a natural photobiochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynethsis. Laser and LED (Light Emitting Diodes) are commonly used light sources. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) Low Level Lasers "energize" the scalp tissue since light is a form of energy. For example, laser light on scalp and hair follicles provides high levels of light which are used by the cells in the scalp and hair to assist in the normal chemical processes performed by those cells. The scientific term for this is photobiostimulation. laser light penetrates into soft tissue and increases the action of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule that is a major carrier of energy from one reaction site to another in all living cells. By doing so, laser light increases the energy available to cells so they take in nutrients faster and get rid of waste products. Infrared LED Light Therapy LED emits near-infrared light with wide wavelength range, NASA's space program (see studies below) has proven that LED light promotes wound healing and human tissue growth. The energy delivered by the LED light enhances cellular metabolism, accelerates the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells. NeoLight is the first therapeutic device on the market to use dual technologies, combining both laser and LED in one unit. With a total of 17 light beams, NeoLight covers more area on your scalp than any other similar device on the market. EASY TO USE Just brush your hair slowly over your scalp for 10-15 minutes, three times a week. The NeoLight is cordless, you can use it while watching TV or use it anywhere anytime. SAFE AND GENTLE The NeoLight laser and LED comply with USA laser product safety standards. There are no reported side effects to the therapy which is painless, non-toxic and complements other treatments. COST EFFECTIVE By using the NeoLight 10-15 minutes per use, it should easily last a lifetime. Compare the one-time cost of a NeoLight to ongoing costs for other hair treatments and you'll see how the NeoLight is much more cost effective over the years. Hair loss treatment typically cost $80 per month and can add up to tens of thousands of dollars over just a few years. PRODUCT FEATURES SUMMARY:

I'm back again and I still love the comb. The down side is the comb pulls a lot of energy. If you want the best results you will have to replace the batteries every 2-3 weeks even if you use it only 3 times per week. Every time I use it I get a "penetrating" feeling. I think it works well with a topical solution either before or after. I get more of a tingling feeling if I use it after a topical solution versus before a topical solution. I hope I get results in all my thin areas. I just receive my Folica Laser Brush today (August 28, 2009) and just got finished using it. I ignored the directions and placed it on my thinning areas for 10 seconds while I held the brush firmly pressing it onto my scalp. I can feel the 'warmness' on the areas where I press firmly and held for 10 seconds or more. I only use it for the front part of my hair and where the hair has thinned and fell out. I did not use it for my whole head. After using it for 15 minutes (only on the thin areas), I still felt a tingling, itching sensation on my head 5 minutes after using it. I also put a topical solution on my scalp in the morning around 8am and used the brush at 8:15pm. I didn't follow the direction when it said use it on a 'clean' scalp. I don't know if the 'warmness' and tingling came from the brush or if it was a result of using the brush while having a topical solution on my scalp. By the way, I am a black female so I don't recommend any black person to follow the directions of holding it for 4 seconds since black people's scalp and follicles is thicker and tighter than europeans. I had to use the product for year before I got results. It doesn't happen overnight. Patience and perseverance is what gets results. You also have to use a supplement and a topical solution. I want my hair back, so I'm going to do it. This product sucks!!
