My nails are weak and split at the ends. I can not use anything with formaldehyed in it. Does the product have it in it?

care of nails
I am a 50 yr old male who has bitten his nails when I was younger. Now my nails have been growing back, thanks to my wife. She has set me up for manicures and pedicures, we go together. The problem with several of my nails are that they are thin and split causing them to not grow right. I have tried different products to help me but alot of the nail conditioners and growth helpers are real shiny when placed on nails. I don't like that they are shiny. How is this formula 2 for thin brittle nails ? Are there any suggestions ? Thanks
