The blades are available in 3-packs (HBMTRH-12). I saw them on as-seen-on-tv-products.ws for $6.49 + $7.40 shipping = $14!!(to replace the blade on a $10 trimmer). I decided to throw the trimmer away and come out money ahead.
PS - If you google "HBMTRH-12" you will get 4-5 other hits but they all tie into the same company. Same price and shipping.
How do you replace the batteries to hard to open? Please help!

It is difficult to open, the battery cover is very sticky.
(1) Just take off the cap that protects the blade end.
(2) Hold tightly the blade end between pointer finger and thumb.
(3) Hold tightly the other end of the trimmer beyond the "micro Touch" logo.
(4) Pull hard and steady and the batter cover should come off.
(5) Remove and then replace the AAA battery.
