I've owned a CHI, Paul Mitchell, and even a "FHI" at one point... I was most satisfied with CHI, and the only reason I'm shopping again is it's starting to wig out power wise and past warranty, so I'm just shopping to see if anything is outstandingly better.Being happy with a CHI's performance, will I be that dsappointed with this iron? A friend suggested it, and just doing my research. The user reviews are leaving me kind of iffy. :/ Question posted by Ann Marie Thu Nov 29 2007 Submit your answer dual voltage
we are in England right now and the metropolis is not working even with a converter and adapter!! we were told this product would work overseas Question posted by veronica Wed Jul 11 2007 Submit your answer dual voltage?
I called Ulta to find out if they had any dual voltage straighteners, & they gave me this product number... only it doesn't say anywhere that it is dual voltage. Is it? Because I'm going to Italy for the summer & need a straightener that will work as well as my CHI but is dual voltage... Question posted by Amanda Fri Jun 29 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Jen

I used this straightener with a plug convertor (not voltage convertor) while in Australia for 5 months without trouble. However, when I returned to Canada and went with my sister to Trade Secrets because she was looking for a new straigtener, the staff told me this was NOT a dual voltage iron. I was told that it was at a different Trade Secrets location where I purchased the iron. So I'm not really sure what the right answer is since employees of Trade Secrets at different locations have told me yes and have told me no. | discolouring
