First of all, I've tried them all. I have the chi and the sedu. This is the best iron I have ever used. I have very curly hair--Egyptian descent. Buy this, you will never regret it.

My sister told me about maxiglide. She went on and on about how wonderful it was and how much she just loved it. I just laughed at her. Then one day she brought it over for me to try, and I have been hooked ever since! I looked it up online the moment she left and ordered one for myself. My hair is straight with a little wave to it and no matter how hard I tried I could not get that really sleek look just by blowing drying with a big round brush. My hair is very fine so I can't use a very hot setting. But other than that, the maxiglide is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone!

i bought the maxiglide a few days ago it works great,but its to heavy so it bothers your hand after a while.

I have spent so much money on flat irons and I was very skeptical about this particular product only because usually anything that is sold on infomercials turns out to be terrible, however, at last, I have found a flat iron that actually straightens my hair nearly as perfectly as my stylist at my salon does! I do not have curly hair but I do have very thick, coarse, wavy hair and this flat iron actually gets the job done! I notice not everyone has had a good experience w/ this product, but I suppose that is to be expected, not everything works for every person but I would definitely recommend this flat iron, especially, if you have tried everything else to no avail! The extra feature that is particularly special is the steam, wonderful!
Can't live without it!

This is absolutely the best straightner out there for the price! Every time I use this people always think that I went to a salon. I've been using it for almost 2 years and it is still in excellent condition! I have very thick hair with highlights so the steam button is key to keeping my ends looking healthy. I also like how it combs through the hair so I can use big peices to straighten at one time. I have tried the T3 brand straightners as well but I had to return them since they don't give me the results I get from the Maxiglide!

This product is the most amazing hair straightner I have ever used. You can use it while your hair is damp or dry. It has steam in it and it does not dry your hair out. I love it, the best purchase for my hair ever....

I never thought I'd see the day when my hair would look like it was naturally straight. I grew up in the 70's when every beauty queen had beautiful straight shinny hair. I used to try everything. VO5 and gels big curlers and blowdriers. Then I tried chemicals in the 80's but of course nothing ever gave me that look of naturally straight hair. I just got the Maxi Glide system as a gift for Christmas. All I can say it I LOVE IT!! I never want to be without it! I have my hair straight and when I choose on days at me new job to go curly, people think I got a PERM!! They can't believe my curly hair is natural. So if you are looking for straight hair that looks natural. GET THE MAXI GLIDE!! It's worth it and you'll love it! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the Maxi Glide!

The Maxiglide flat iron is getting my hair straighter than anything else I have ever used. My daughter purchased the product and after seeing her hair, I decided to use it. Afterwards, I purchased my own maxiglide flat iron and am very satisfied with the outcome. I am an African American female with long-thick hair and have never been able to get my hair as straight as the maxiglide does. If the infomercial advertised the product on more ethnic women hair, the product would sell better in the minority market. I would definitely endorse the product.

After years of looking for a straightener that would work on my thick hair I found Maxiglide. I loved it but it was always in my daughters room when I needed it... I just bought her one too.

I ABSOLUTLY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my maxiglide!!!!! i have spent $100's of dollars on the lastest in staighteners.....and this by dar is the BEST PURCHASE I MADE!!!! my hair is soooo silky and my daughter who has really curlly ringlet hair love the results as well..her hair is very hard to staighten....thank Max....for all your hard work u put into making this awesome iron!!!!!!! *Aloha* from Maui

I've owned my Maxi glide hair straightener for about 2 1/2 months, and the black lining on the plates have already come off! I have long and very thick hair and have to run the straightener down my hair several times. The Maxi glide is just too bulky and I plan on investing more money to buy a better quality product.

I have the Maxi and the mini glide and love them both. I don't have exremeley wavy hair that people tell me the they pay a fortune for perms to get their hair like that. But sometimes I just want that swingy shiny bob that just puts a sping in my step. I find that if I apply beyond straight after towel drying and then use the end on my ends befor straigtening, my hair comes our straight and shiney, swingy with a lot of body. Love these products.

I purchased the maxiglide and tried it on a friends hair. It worked great so i deicded to keep it. when i tried it on my hair, it took an hour to straighten and it was puffy. i normally use the chi and get my hair flat, but it dries out my hair. the maxiglide did make my hair soft, but it is to heavy and easy to break.Another Aseenontv product that does not work.

I have seen this product on TV for the longest time. I refused to buy it, b/c I have learned from experience DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON TV. However, I wanted this kind of product so bad.. Finally I bought it and use it every week. I use to blow dry then flat iron. ugggg..What used to take approx. 2 hours, takes just 30 min. I am so very pleased with this product. It's simply AWESOME!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!

After using my friends' maxiglide, I immediately purchased my own. I have never been able to straighten my own hair with good results...it always came out looking frizzy and dry. But the maxiglide does an amazing job! Last year, I had my hair straightened at a salon and what I do on my own with the maxiglide looks just as good! I highly recommend this product, my hair is very thick and curly, and after straightening it looks shiny and healthy. And straight! Also, the results are lasting about 3 days, so it really cuts down on my prep time in the mornings.

I was skeptical, but sold on the ceramic detangling pins. As long as you brush your hiar first (as stated in the informational dvd) this thing is amazing. The steam burst allows my hair to be soft and shiny, the pins work great to further detangle so that i'm just not flattening a birds nest of hair. I have burned my ears a few times (and i use the 3-of-10 setting) so i'm guessing don't try putting it on your face or leaving it on your scalp if you are on a higher setting. Other than that, i've been very happy and have started doing my friends' hair as well. I fully suggest and support this product. Aloha!

This straighetened very nicely when I used their brand shampoo & conditioner but when I used a different brand it didn't. It does straighten pretty quickly about 15 minutes but they weight of it makes it feel like an house oh yeah hair got frizzy shortly afterwards.
No More Chemical Relaxers for me!!!!

I tried the Maxiglide because my daughter insisted,I've used so many other similar products and wasn't all that impressed so I figured this was just another one to add to the list. Well let me begin by saying AMEN!!AMEN!! Finally a product that lives up to its claims. I am a black female with natural hair that's full and very very thick,I usually wear an afro because I no longer wanted to put a relaxer in it. Well after using the maxiglide my hair was so nice and straight and full of body,everyone couldn't believe that I didn't relax again. Now I can have the best of both worlds straight or natural. GIRLS IT DOES WORK WONDERS!! So here's my new saying
"Got frizzy nappy hair?
No need to hide
If you want stand out
Just MAXIGLIDE!"

I totally recommend this product. It has changed from me going to the salon to get my hair done and not wash it in a week, to now doing it easily at the comfort of my own home and can wash it more often without thinking of giving away another $40 everytime I go to do my hair at a salon. I can exercise more often without worrying the sweat will get the hair wet and dirty it fast and have to wash it and pay again. I can just do it at home. The product heats up fast and leaves my hair shiny and soft. It's amazing! I thought this moment would've never existed. I just did my hair yesterday and it came out better than when I go to the salon. It became so straight that my hair clip today at work, would fall every 2 minutes!! (I'm SERIOUS!!!) I'm sooo happy that my hair looks healthy and looks like its naturally straight!

I love Maxiglide. It worked just like the instructional video said it would. I grew out my perm 3yrs ago and I have a full head of African hair and it worked for me. I was glad that I could let my hair air dry and then use maxiglide. Great investment!
