I've bought several flat irons for my daughter, but she could never seem to get that professional straightened look until I bought the Maxiglide. At first my daughter was skeptical and told me I should not have wasted money on another flat iron; "It's not going to work". Well after much persauding she tried it and we all loved the results. She looks as she came from an expensive salon. The Maxiglide really makes a big difference compared to other flat irons.

I just purchased the maxiglide and I LOVE IT!! I had given up on ever having straight hair unless I paid to have it blown out. I have thick, curly, course hair, and I have tried everything. I had finally commited to Loraine Masseys "Curly Girl" but still hated not having the option of easily straightening my hair. Now in 15 minutes this product made my hair straight and soft. It REALLY does what it says. I want to scream it from roof tops.

I have had this straightener for about a month now and is already starting to take longer to heat up and is pulling out my hair. In the beginning heating up was quick, and I only have it turned on for 20 minutes at a time.I do section at a time and very slowly, but still pulls out long strands of hair each time after each section. I have now purchased a new straighter from Sedu and works lovely. This just didnt do the job for my thick hair. I want to straighten my hair, not pull it all out!!

I'm mexican and I have a whole-lot of thin curly, frizzy hair. If I wanted to wear it natrually curly, I absolutly have to pack on a serious amout of gel and hairspray, and if it rains forget it I'm a walking frizz-ball. So when ever I would blow-dry my hair I would spend 40min. to 1hour in front of the mirror breaking a sweat using a huge round brush and still using products to keep it from frizzing. I first saw the maxiglide on TV and thought it was to good to be true and very expensive. Untill my sister ordered it for her self. She has real thick curly hair to her sholuders and would also blow-dray her hair. Till one day she came out of her room with supper straight shiny hair and i said "wow how long did you spend if infront of the mirror" she said about 10 to 15minutes. I couldn't believe it untill I tried it for my self. It took me 10 mintues to do my entire head and I was done. After borrowing hers for months my boyfriend suprized me with my own for valentines day. The best gift his every given me. It would take me hours to get ready, spending most of that time doing my hair and now I don't even put any products on my hair. I just use the maxiglide and it stays straight for day's. Even in humid weather my hair does not frizz up. I've even expirienced rain and there is nothing worse then water on your hair when you straighten. It wasn't poring but still it was sprinkling and i had nothing to cover my head, no sweater or jacket. I ran for half a block jumped in the car, looked in the mirrow and was amazed that it was not even frizzy. I would defenetly recomend this product to everyone. you'll absolutly love it. Just remember after a shower let your hair dry completly or help it by blowdrying and brush it out. Regaurdless you should always brush it out to prevent pulling.

This has got to be the one of the best straightening tool ever! I love it! I am so delighted with it!! It straightens my hair so easy with out any hassels your truely Gliding!!!!

one of my family members has one and so i decided to try it-
it hurts my hair and makes it static. it also made one spot on my head really sensitive.

I received my maxiglide that my husband ordered online for me via courier yesterday. I could hardly wait to try it today. Between the threats that I was going to cut off all my hair along with sitting in front of the t.v. watching infomercials of this product, my husband secretly purchased this for me on line. This product is simple to use and gives amazing results. It cut my styling time in half. I have used several other flat irons on the market and just as I had predicted, the MAXIglide gets the highest performance rating yet. If you have any hesitations about this product at all, I recommend that you try it...what do you have to lose?? Thank you for such a remarkable product.

It took me a while to decide to buy the MAXIglide but this website offered the best price I could find, free shipping, and a money back guarantee...so I tried it. I love it!!! The best part is that it only takes me 10-15 min. to do my hair now, whereas before it would take me about 40 min. I also love the little pins. I only have to run it through my hair once and it comes out great. I am really happy with the MAXIglide.

I have long THICK wavey hair, and have always used a flat iron to control it.....which took FOREVER. The maxiglide had cut my time in half. Friends have noticed a difference too. Smooth, shiney, beautiful hair. What more could a girl ask for???

I just used my new maxiglide it is the most wonderfull thing I have ever used. I have frizzy, thick, curly, and very knotty hair always have knots and tangles I used the beyond straight and blew my hair dry what a fuzz ball it was then I started with maxiglide I have the smoothest straight hair I LOVE IT. I used che3mical straighteners and blow dry and everything else even tried an iron(long ago) but I couldn't believe this product I can't stop talking about it and I can't stop playing with my hair my two children love my hair they can run thier fingers through it I never had that experiance before. Now that I know I can have straight beautiful hair I have an appoinment for a hair cut and color. I'm going to surprise everyone. I hope my maxiglide last forever I also have the mini glide works just as good I used it in the morning for a quick touch up looks GREAT. Thank you so much for bringing this product to me I LOVE IT!!!!! It is definitly a fantastic buy you won't be sorry you spent your money on this product.

I bought the maxi glide, because Like everybody else I seen it on tv and saw him doing all the girls hair and thought wow that looks like a good straighter. And if it could save me the 60 dollars I spend on getting my hair relaxed cool. so I bought it let me tell you this piece of crap burned the hell out of my hair when I put it through the thing wouldn't even move so I watch the dvd like everyone said too thinking it was me I put it though again. I wasn't pressing and it still wouldn't move the thing not only burned my hair but the piece of crap ripped chunks of it out! I would not recommend this product to any other african american women ever or even white women for that matter!!

Although I was a little skeptical at first I gave it a try. I am used to working with wet hair. In the morning after let my hair naturally drying all night (my kids were frightened by the fro), I plugged in the Maxiglide and within 10 minutes a had straight, soft and manageable hair. The straight was almost too straight. The next day I was able to touch up with a brush and blow dryer and within 2 mintues I was ready to go. It does keep your hair straight until you wash it again. It was even humid and rainy outside. Your hair feels softer and is much more manageable. You need to work with small sections, if you do this there is no pulling or breaking of the hair any more than with a regular brush.

I purchased this iron after seeing it on TV. My hair is thick, and wavy, and after my Solano died, I decided to give this one a try. My hair NEVER went through the little combs easily, and also, it's a bit too heavy to hold. Overall, I think it does an OK job, but nothing out of this world, and I expected much more.

I just wanted to write that, I used the Maxiglide for the first time last night on both of my daughters ages 9 and 4. I wish that I had a before and after photo of them both. The Maxiglide worked so wonderfully that when my older sister seen my 9yr old daughters hair this morning she came to my house and did her own hair, which of course made me late for work, but I think that I may have to get her her own before she tries to take mine (smile). My oldest daughters hair is very thick and realy wavy at the roots so you can imagine how difficult it can be to have to wash her hair blow dry it and then on top of all that trying to style it, impossible right, wrong not with the Maxiglide. It made it easy and very time sufficient.
I LOVE IT! Would not trade it in for the world! That you Maxiglide for creating a product for us parents who does not like putting chemicals in our childrens hair, I thank you and keep up with the great creations.

I just bought mine at Bed Bath And Beyond for $79.99... which was a smart choice because you dont have to pay shipping. ANYWAY!!! It's soooo awesome. My hair is frizzy and looks kind of windblown most of the time. My hair is soo straight now it looks great!!!! My friend has it, i tried it and loved it. My suggestion to those people who say "your hair gets caught in the pins"... if you read the DIRECTIONS...it says to clamp down VERY VERY LIGHTLY..and SLOWLY... also if you want you can put a frizz control straightening cream on your hair first.. i used one from pantene. Ook i talk too much lol. It's AWESOME---- BUY IT FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND NOWW!!!!! This site seems pretty good too, so get it here if you want!! it's cheap here!

I have used dozen of straightener in me life, when I saw the commerical for this one. I said to myself great another hair straightener the promise alot but doesn't delivered. So I bought it, the first time I used I couldn't believe the result my hair look and felt great. It took me only 20 minutes to style my hair. It works great I love it. I have recommened it to all my friend with and without curly hair. IT FANTASTIC!!!

This product is GREAT. When I first used it I didn't moisterize my hair so it kinda turned out dry but straight, then I did it correct and it turned out wonderful. I just got my hair cut so it don't look good in a ponytail so this really keeps me from having to try to put it in a ponytail. And it really shows off my layers. The only problem I have is sometimes it goes off, but other than that it is GREAT!!
