best straightener ever!!!!

i love this product so much because its so easy to use and takes less time to do my hair i have thick curly very frizzy hair and when i first used it i was like "wow" it really does exactly what they show on TV it works a whole lot better than those flat irons i have tried to use in the past i love it so much i am going to buy this for younger sister as well.

My hair is extremely curly, I'm talking spiral curls. Nothing has ever worked on my hair, successfully that is. I've even tried chemically straightening it it only made it frizzier. This makes my hair straight and sleek. It has to be the steam burst and the ceramic teeth that's the secret because i have used the 'Chi' before, and even that didn't work. I would be the perfect spokeperson for their commercial, i'm tellin ya. They wouldn't have to exaggerate a thing by teasing my hair to make it appear frizzier than it is. I wouldn't be caught dead without any product in my hair when i wear it curly. A small amount of the Maxius products, Beyond Straight and The End, and it lasts for days!
Will straighten hair but will fry it too!!

This worked great for about 4 months, then my hair just turned to straw...burnt with spit ends. I have been using it for about a year and enough is enough. I need a strengthener that does not damage my hair like this one did. I am giving this straightener away. Now, this works great to get your hair straight..Like I said I loved it at first but IT WILL DAMAGE YOUR HAIR!!

I had the maxiglide and i hated it. It damaged my hair and stopped heating up after a few months. I do not reccomend this product.

i purcahsed 1 last yr., now i bought another one because it's so great for my hair & my teenage daughter's hairstyling needs. Now it's more civilised in our bathroom as we both have our own flat iron each. I have to buy also another transformer because we have a different voltage in Australia. But it's really a great product. great value for money as i saved heaps of hairdressers fees since i have maxiglide.

I really love this product I have tried the Chi small one and the big one but it does not get my hair as straight and non frizzy as this product does. When you go to the hair stylist they can get your hair so straight it is very hard to do yourself, but with this product having the teeth it pulls down the hair straight I am so glad I could not sleep that night and saw it on tv. I would love to find the spray that was advertise on TV when you go out and your hair stays non frizzy please advise where I can buy that product.

I have incredibly thick hair with corkscrew curls. We always want what we don't have -- in my case, straight hair! I used to have my hair chemically relaxed, and twice my stylists even used product to relax African American hair because of my kink ... that was, until I found the Maxiglide!
This product is amazing. I straighten in layers starting underneath, and the compliments I get on my hair are overwhelming. I just purchased my second Maxiglide because the top plate coating started chipping. I only straighten about every three days so as to not damage my hair, and it only takes about 20 minutes compared to over double the time blow-drying! Buy this product - you won't regret it.

this is the best iron ever!!!!! IT TAKES ABOUT 5 MINS. TO HEAT UP, AND MY HAIR IS STILL VERY DRY AND VERY FRIZZY, BUT AT LEAST IT IS STRAIGHT!!!!!!! it DID NOT drynouot my hair(my hair is dry to begin with), but it did not improve the health of my hair. i love it anyway. IT LEAVES MY HAIR STRAIGHT, AND THATS WHAT I WANTED.

I have used the maxiglide for a year and a half and it started having problems. The light kept blinking and it would not heat up properly even when i had it on the highest setting. Also the top plate didnt heat up at all. However the Maxiglide has done wonders on my hair. I am Caribbean and i have long wavy and ridiculously thick hair. I get my hair chemically straightened and with the maxiglide i can go for four months before getting a touchup. Whenever I do my hair it looks fresh, just like I left the salon. I love the maxiglide so much the I had to run out today and buy a new one because it is still worth every penny. I highly recommend this flat iron!

I love my maxiglide!! I have used 3 different kinds of ceramic hairstraighteners and I love this one the best. I have straight hair, but it is very frizzy and wild. With the steam, brush plate, and ceramic combo, it is now shiny and straight with no frizz!! I have heard a lot of people saying that the ceramic plate wears off after a while, but that comes with EVERY ceramic hot tool. I have a curling iron that did it to me too. When using the brush plate, make sure your hair is combed through first or I can see how it would pull hair. It took me 10 minutes (20 with other straighteners) to do my hair, so this product is highly recommended by me, someone who uses more hot tools that the average person!

I have ridiculously frizzy, curly, hard to control hair, and this product is my miracle. I live in Hawaii where the humidity is extremely high and I never could straighten my hair, I do everyday now with absolutely no problems. This really does work...I swear by it!

the maxiglide is great!! i'm an african-american female, who has the real nappy hair ( like steel wool ) it really staighten out my hair & made my hair look healthy & beautiful. if you have hair like i have please get this maxiglide as soon as possible. you will love it!!!!

I have never had a straightener that works this well. It straightens the first time AND it keeps my hair soft. My hair is not dry and brittle any more. And it is so easy to use, it doesn't take me forever to get my hair straight! My sister even comes to my house to use it as well. If I had to choose ONE thing I would change, it would be how heavy it is, but no biggy. Just works my arm muscles!! Thanks so much for inventing this product. This is SO what I needed for my hair.

Started using my mom's when I went home to visit. She dared me to try it. Although very hesitant, due to my natural curly hair, I went on. It made it bone straight; and I didnt even have it all the way up. So im going to purchase my own Maxiglide ASAP. This is the best product I have used... having African American Natural Curly hair that is soft, and doesnt do well with humidity and cant take harsh chemical; this is a mircle product. Thanks~
