Manic Panic Flash Lightning bleach kit was designed for pre-lightening the hair before using Manic Panic cream or gel semi-permanent hair colors. Includes everything you need to lighten your hair.

Kit includes:

• 1 Pair of gloves
• 1 Tint Brush
• 1 Mixing bowl
• 1 Plastic cap
• 1.0 oz. Of Dust Free bleach powder
• 3 ounces of 40 volume peroxide
• Complete step by step instructions

Always follow the instructions on the box carefully. Folica recommends doing a strand test prior to application (take one strand of hair and follow instructions on the box).

Note: This kit can only be shipped by ground. No overnight or air delivery. This product can not be shipped outside of the continental U.S.

Useful before coloring hair

I used this on my boyfriend's hair before we dyed it completely pink and it worked very well, everything was nice and blonde and it was very fast. We used the 40 volume. The only problem is that it's a small kit.

The good thing about this product is that it works really fast. I had to rinse mine out soon after applying it (the 40 vol) because it was burning my scalp and my brownish hair was already a blonde color. The bad thing is it was a pain in the a** to apply seeing as how they only give you a brush to mix it in with. I couldn't scoop it up with my hand either because it was runny from the devolper. Hmmm... so I had a not so good time using this.

does lighten it the way bleach does and the 30 volume kit isnt as harsh it made me happy with results on my daughters hair but works great of your already in the blonde stages not enough product to do entire head or dark hair.not at all.I was only able to do the top partof her hair that was already a strawberry blonde so it gave me what i wanted,The only thing i have found to work better is born blonde.the good thing was it didnt require a toner or color on it it looks pretty natural on her.We couldnt getthe previous red passion out of her front bang area though with one app of this stuff had to do it twice once that semi perm color is in it doesnt liek to come completely out.I have dark ahir with bleach ran through and put red passion all over and it turned hot pink and looks great with the dark and pink contrast when it washeds out it looks kinda reddish pink but doesnt compleytely come out .Im going with cottom candy when it washes out again.; )

If you can read directions and have done at least a little research on the process of bleaching, you won't have any issues. It does what it's supposed to.

I went from Brown hair to orange. It was fried. My hair had never been so dry in my life and its elasticity was unbelievable were I to apply blond dye I am sure my hair would've fallen out. I had been growing my hair and it was the longest it had ever been, I had to cut it and after almost 10 months my hair has never reached its natural softness again and in order to achieve my once healthy looking medium length I had to resort to extensions an expensive solution. Definitely NOT worth it.
