Joyce Carboni founded Skinsational Skin and Body Spa in 1997 with the desire to provide the ultimate spa experience for her customers, at a time when the true day spa concept was brand new. Today, through her innovative vision and direction, Skinsational Skin and Body Spa has become San Diego North’s premiere full-service day spa and the preferred destination of many spa-goers. Specializing in Asian and Balinese spa therapies, the entire Skinsational family is known for its outstanding customer service and high standards in skin and body care practices.
With over 24 years of experience in the skin and body care industry, Joyce is an expert at educating her staff and discovering the perfect treatments for each and every guest. She stresses the need to consistently care for your skin, both with home and professional treatments. As a licensed esthetician, Joyce apprenticed for Robert Diemer, a renowned skincare pioneer and founder of the American Institute of Esthetics in Huntington Beach, California. While an instructor at the Institute, Joyce taught skincare, waxing and make-up classes to up-and-coming estheticians.
