I'm an active runner and sports fanatic who perspires a lot. In addition, I have oily skin, so finding a waterproof mascara that didn't smudge, run or clump was next to impossible. Thank heavens for MAVALA's Waterproof mascara. This is The ONLY waterproof mascara that has ever worked for me. For 4 years now, I've been driving 45 minutes to purchase this product. Now I purchase it on-line and save the time :) Please keep on carrying it! Very nice mascara, makes beautiful lashes, definitely not waterproof though. This stuff is the BEST....it is so easy to apply because of the curved brush and lasts no matter what. It is also a nice bonus that its waterproof but also nourishing as well. Definitely worth it, I will never use another mascara!!! Unfortunatley it smudges - just seeps further away from the lash as the day goes on. Bought it since it was the consumer's choice- but did not even meet my lowest expectations! It was not only not waterproof, but left dark black circles under my eyes after only a few hours of wearing. It never felt dry and would smear if I touched my eye. It also had flakes.
