My daughter's fingernails were so small I was getting very worried. Mavala has really stopped her chewing, and after two weeks I'm beginning to see some nail. Yeah!!!

The stuff truely tastes horrible. My husband and I tried it and it was gross. We tried it on our 2 1/2 year old, we're trying to get him to keep his fingers out of his mouth. We painted the nail and it didn't faze him a bit. So, I tried the whole finger tip to the knuckle, not any better. Either he's good at blocking it out, or it doesn't work well.

I've only had this for about 1 1/2 weeks but I love it already. I've been biting my nails for 25yrs so obviously it will take a while to complety get over it but with this product I think the process will be a lot easier. These reviews make me hopeful too. Good luck everyone!

I read a lot of reviews on this product and was a bit skeptical on if it really worked...
we told our son when he turned 3 he was going to have to stop sucking his thumb...what I didn't anticipate was how hard it was going to be for everyone! SO, needless to say I knew we needed help...the day we got this I put it on and he immediately stopped sucking his thumb. He was not sure why his thumb tasted so bad, and I did have to give him a sip of water or milk right after he tried sucking his thumb. I have only had to apply 3x. This was a huge deal for him & us...it has been 14 days of no thumbsucking & he doesn't even attempt it anymore! Thank you again for a wonderful product!!!

My three year old twins wanted to quit sucking their thumbs really badly. I bought this and applied it as soon as I opened the box. That is all it took... they haven't sucked their thumbs since. This product is GREAT!
Good product with some disadvantages!

MAVALA Stop for Nail Biting and Thumb Sucking has worked for me and i have been bitting my nails for as long as i can remember. Alhough the product is good it was uncomfortable becasue it shines to much and a guy with shiny nails is looked at a little different. Yet agian, great product but i had to stop using it because i am a kitchen cook and the bitter taste was coming off on to the meats. Overall, it did help my nail bitting habit of 13 years end and it is a product i personally recomend! Fast shipping!

The product to seemed to work pretty well at first, especially since it made both of my thumb suckers throw up! The taste was so nasty that I thought they would never suck their thumbs again. But after they got used to the taste, it didn't seem to bother them as much. I have seen a definite decrease in the thumb sucking, but they haven't totally kicked the habit yet.

I just have to say that this is an awesome product! I used it for my 5 year old and my 3 year old. Both had been sucking their thumbs since they were babies and I have tried everything to get them to stop. Within 2 days they had stopped during the day and after about 2 weeks they had even quit at night. I am so grateful that I found this product. It worked like a charm.

My daughter has sucked her fingers for 5 1/2 years. She was ready to quit but couldn't do it on her own. We used the nail polish and she has been 100% successful in kicking the habit. There were no side effects. I have given the product name to my daughters dentist and all my friends who have children who have a thumb or finger sucking habit! I highly recommnend this product.

My 10 year old son has been sucking his thumb since birth, we have tried everything, other products like this and they did not work. After using MAVALA Stop for Nail Biting and Thumb Sucking for a week he is no longer sucking his thumb. It's well worth the money and I'm glad we tried it.

I bought this product to keep our animals from chewing on our new furniture and it worked like a charm. Even on the good wood! We have just purchased a beautiful dark wood dining room set and our animals were chewing at the legs and corners or the table and chairs, making bright white teeth marks. We put this on and they haven't gone back since. And you can't see it at all! It blends in with the wood and isn't shiny like clear nail polish. It didn't take much and hasn't hurt the wood. A surprising and successful fix to our problem.

Hi, My son started sucking his finger since he was 6 months old. I tried everything for one and a half yrs ....socks ,mittens, bandage and applying bitter oil, garlic, lemon...but nothing worked. I came across Mavala while surfing the web and I painted his nails with it for just 3 days and it has worked like a charm!! For the past two weeks he hasn't sucked his finger at all!!! I am so so excited. No more nasty smelling fingers!! yayee!!!

I would never have believed that my 3-1/2 year old daughter would not be a thumb sucker after only less than a week! We put the "special nail polish" on, which did cause her to gag, but that's what it's supposed to do! Literally - she was no longer a thumb sucker after a week. Great product! Thank you.

After one application my almost 9 year old daughter stopped sucking her thumb. She'd been trying for over a year to stop on her own, but it was "just too hard." Her dentist finally recommended Mavala Stop and it seems to have done the trick. She's been thumb free for two weeks now. I've been applying the Mavala Stop every 2-3 days, and will probably continue for another week, just to be sure. Wish we would have found this product years ago.

One of our daughters used to suck her thumb, the other sucked on her index and middle fingers. We used Mavala Stop for less than a week and both girls were done sucking for good.

My 11 year old daughter has been biting her nails for longer than either of us can remember. Within 10 days of using "Stop for Nail Biting and Thumb Sucking" she has broken the habit. After ONE day, my 3-year-old daughter not only stopped sucking her thumb, she stopped twiddling her breast (which was the habit that went along with sucking her thumb) and she stopped biting her nails - all after just one application. She thought I was painting her nails "like a big girl" but once she realized that her nails were NASTY, she never wanted them near her mouth again. This bottle saved me from buying a $600 appliance from the dentist - yeaaaaaa. In just a few days, I also noticed Amber's teeth shifting back into place (she has less of an overbite).

I bought this for my 8 yr old daughter who was biting her nails for the last year or so. She really wanted to quit so we started using the Mavala Stop and she hasn't bit them yet! I am very pleased.
