Nail biting is a very bad habit which often becomes uncontrollable for many

MAVALA Stop is a harmless, transparent formula with a distinct bitter taste.
It can be used alone or over color. It will stop you from putting fingers to
your mouth and biting your nails. Also recommended for children who suck their
thumbs. Directions: Apply one coat of MAVALA Stop on the entire nail and allow it to dry for one
minute. Repeat the application every two days until you have broken the habit of
biting your nails. After 10 days, your nail should have grown normally but may require
strengthening! We would then recommend our nail hardener MAVALA Scientifique and

My Son who is two was a avid thumbsucker until I found Mavala. It took one night of crying but the product worked. He stopped sucking and he hasn't tried again. But the product tends to rub off the fingers onto everything he touched. Even the food that he would touch became bitter.

Just seconds ago my daughter started having a tantrum about putting on the Mavala. She can't stand it and still wants to suck her thumb when she is tired. It is a battle but this stuff works when we can get it on her thumb. She is certainly more conscious of the thumb sucking. Tonight we will try while she is sleeping. The Mavala works, we just have to be strong and use it.

I was so glad I took the opportunity to buy this product my daughter who is 4 sucked her thub and I thought she would never stop. She started sucking at 1years of age copying her friend. I used stop in one week she never sucked her thumb again. And get this she REMIONDED ME TO PUT IT ON! Shes a big girl now.
