Since I started using this product I have noticed my nails growing but I still have a couple of nails that want to split. My nails were very weak before I started using this product because I had used acrylic nails for a while and it really weakened my real nails. I will be buying this product again.

I have used Mavala nail strengthener since I was 16 years old, I use to take it from my oldest sister and use it because her nails where always so long and pretty I wanted mine to look that way, too. The result of that is I have made keeping my nails long and pretty for over 30 years, unfortually I have had a hard time finding Mavala in the stores because of pepole not following simple instructions. Im glad that I have found it again, since I have gotten older so have my nails they need extra care now.

This product is everything it is advertised to be -- a miracle for peeling, splitting, weak nails. It starts working it's magic from the very first application. It hasn't even been a month yet and I now have ten great nails at the same time. The best part is they're all mine!

My nails were horribly flaky and chipping. This product made them tough and strong. Now, they are growing wonderfully and i totally recommend this product.

It's been 3 weeks and my nails are still very weak and tear very easily. I have worn acrylic nails on and off for over ten years. I have recently decided that I really want to stick to my original nails and get them looking beautiful. Of course, after I took the acrylics off, my nails were horribly weak, paper thin, and tear easily. My nails are so short (due to tearing) that i can not use the shield with this product. So i carefully applied the product to the tips (more often than even specified due to how damaged my nails are). After three weeks, they are still tearing. I'm going to continue using the product though. I'm thinking maybe I just have to allow time for the major damaged part of my nail to completely grow out. So hopefully, in a few weeks, they'll be doing better.

Mavala nail hardener is an excellent product now that I am letting my own nails grow after years of using silk wrapped nails. My nails were so thin and brittle. This product is helping them get stronger than they ever were.

I just started using this 2-3 weeks ago, & I can already see a HUGE difference in my brittle, peeling nails. The kicker was yesterday, I was releasing a hand brake @ work & it sprung back & clocked the tip of my little finger (which happens to have a nice, long nail) Had this happened a month ago, I know that nail would've snapped off or ripped back into the painful stuff. But it didn't! Not even a mark!! I'm sold, I love this product & will NEVER be without it! I'll let you know how my nails look in another month, I can't wait!!!

THIS NAIL HARDENER IS AMAZING!!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!
I have been using this product for over 30 years and it is, without a doubt, absolutely the best of its kind. On the rare occasion that I was without it, my nails would deteriorate no matter what else I used.
By the way, throw away the shield, it is useless. Just apply the liquid a little past the white portion of the nail, to protect the future growth.

i am a professional musician in nashville, tn. i spend hours and hours a day with a guitar of some sort in my hands. i also have chronically thin nails. they were so thin that i had to wear acrylics just to play fingerstyle. after 3 weeks with MAVALA Scientifique, however, the story has changed. i did a 4.5 hour rehersal the other day, and came home eager to show my wife the difference this product had made. i held out my had, as i often do, and told her to look at my nails. this usually means that i have broken one or two of them again. she looked, and said "they look exactly the same as when you left." that was my point. 4.5 hours of pick and fingers playing (i hold a standard pick and use my middle, ring and pinky figers as well) and you could not tell that i had picked up a guitar. this product, along with Gena's Hoof Protien has made a signifigant impact on my nails in just a matter of weeks. i can't wait to see what happens in the next month. this really is the only thing that works.

I have been using Mavala for about a month and I can hardly believe how great my nails look. I have tried everything and this is the only product that has really worked. I also love the convenience of only having to use it once a week.

If you have read any other Mavala reviews you will know that I am "sold" on these products. I am 51 yrs. and finally found my Holy Grail for Nail products. It is Mavala nail care line and Orly nail polish. Thanks to Folica.com I found both of these products from the reviews I've read. Thank you to all of those who wrote a review - I listened and I am extremely happy. My nails look fake.
They were crappy over the years - weak, broken, dry cuticles, manicures that didn't last 2 days. Not any more.

I have been using the Mavala nail hardener for about 2 months now and I'm pleased to report that it does indeed work, initially it feels almost as though your wearing artificial nails they're so strong and sturdy. However, I have found that the best way to get the most out of this experience is two use it in conjunction with Gena's healthy hoof protein treatment (a product that horse trainer's use to keep their thoroughbreds nails' healthy and strong; a product you just happen to sell, also). And it's a good thing because I have used the latter for many years every day (3-5 times) and simply adore it. The results are permanent and keep improving. I do have one caution though, do not use the healthy hoof right after the nail hardener. Wait until the next day preferably in the morning after you shower. Then throughout the day after your hands have been in water. Now, you have a two prong treatment, one that strengthens and thickens your nails and the other that does the same thing with the added bonus of moisterizing and nourishing the nail bed and cuticles. It also creates the most beautiful nail contour you've ever seen, so real they'll look fake. As a very savvy and learned nail care consumer who has tried virtually every product on the market along with some really gross homemade concoctions, I highly recommend this combo to anyone with weak, thin nails. There is hope at last!

I really like this product and for such a long time I had a hard time finding places to buy the Mavala products. Now I have with Folica.com. Not only are my choices plentiful but they shipped so fast. I will continue to buy from Folica.com when I need to.

I have very bad nails, a trait I inherited and share with other women in my family. My nails are extremely thin and fragile. My hobbies don't help; I make pottery and garden in my spare time, and I love to paint. Using Mavala about once per week has helped my nails stay smoother and stronger than they ever were before. I use it in combination with Mavala's Nailactin and Cuticle Cream several times a week. This combination seems to work best for me.

I have been using Mavala products for years. They were once available at Shoppers Drug Mart but they longer carry these products. It is the best nail product I have ever used.
