The MAVALA Nail Buffer kit contains two pads. The gray pad has a slightly abrasive surface to even out ridges and other irregularities. The pink pad is for polishing.

Directions:

To even out irregularities, gently draw the gray buffer across the nail - in one direction only - avoiding the nail tips. Once a month is sufficient. Shine the nail with the pink polisher, using long, energetic, back and forth movements.

I bought these hoping to buff out some ridges ect. These have performed better than i had hoped. I am so glad i tried these!!!

I tried the regular chamois buffer that you buy at Walgreens and it did nothing for my nails. I got this the other day and used it according to directions without buffing cream (I did also use it with buffing cream (Supernail which I purchased here and it worked great also) and my nails look as shiny as if I put clear polish on them. Really does what it says it does. Also, Folica's customer service is great, my e mails were answered and delivery was FAST!
