My daughter has curly/wavy hair, and this was okay. It's definitely a lotion type product. I prefer a lighter mousse, like Tresseme's curl mousse.

I currently have Micro braids with Deep Wave hair and I just wet my hands and run my fingers through the curls and then I put a quarter size of the product in my hands and continue fingering the curls and VOILA! Beautiful! I think the key with this product is there isn't any alcohol in it to dry out your hair.

when i first got my jherri curl back in 2006 i tried lustrasilk activator i didnt like it when i wet my hair like the bottle says and then i apply the activator it always makes my hair turn white and soapy. so thats why i dont recommend this product i mean lustrasilk has been around for a very long time i like their other products besides this.

When I was in high school 80's I had a perfert curl perm everyone wanted to know how my curls was so/too perfect, I did not want to tell "Lustrasilk". It's back, I run a business and using this product, it is the best for lovely hair care. People are asking again, why and how? I do tell "Right On". It's right.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND IT IS THE ONLY PRODUCT THAT I HAVE FOUND THAT REALLY WORKS ON MY VERY FRIZZY, VERY CURLY HAIR. RECENTLY I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIND IT AT ANY OF THE STORES IN OUR AREA. I wear my hair curly and natural. I love this product. It leave the hair moist, and gives a little sheen. Not oily.
I swear by this product. Oh and there is no sticjyness to it either..............

My family has used this product for years with great success. It leaves us with soft hair, tames the friz of naturally curly hair and leaves a nice shine for at least a couple days.

I swear by this stuff. It makes my curls bouncey and soft with no creepy oil. If they ever discontinue it I will have to shave my head.
