I wouldn't worry so much about whether it works for a certain type of hair. It all depends on how your hair responds to the ingredients. I'm a member of a hair message board and many of the curlies there who don't have "ethnic" hair use products that are normally marketed towards those with AA type hair.
If your hair doesn't respond well to glycerin, certain proteins, or silicones, then maybe this product isn't for you.
