Based on the high ratings, I purchased 3 Diamond Nail Files. I am extremely disappointed. It is essentially dull and ineffective. This has to be one of the worst purchases I've made and will be throwing them away.

Most reviewers seem to think this nail file does its job very quickly. I have to disagree. It is great for a finish job, but to file down hard nails quickly, it isn't the one to use.

Hi all,
I am an esthetician in CT and I bought this file for myself to try it out due to the product note saying that "it's easily cleaned"(trying to go green). Yes, it is and it's very smooth on your nails and skin(if you accidentally touch). Leaves a smooth, clean edge. Just be careful of the pressure, because it does work quickly. I do not have to keep doing one file angle so much as with normal every day emery files. Great for men to! Hubby likes his:)

I usually just buy the cheap nail files at the supermarket and then use it for a few months before throwing it away. I bought this on a whim and I'm glad I did. It just works so well and so fast. This is my first time trying a non-disposable file and I'm not looking for another one. I got one for my mom and she loves it too.

I would not have bought this file if I had seen it in the store, but it is really nice. It makes short work of filing! One swipe and you can see the difference. I will never use and emory board again.

These files smooth nails quickly, but need to be cleaned fairly regularly. I find that whacking them against something soft, like a trousered thigh, works pretty well, leaving an imprint in fingernail dust on the fabric.
The file is a bit thicker than would be ideal, so getting it under the end of a fingernail is not as easy as with, say, an emery board, but emery boards wear out faster than a bar of hotel soap, so all in all I think it's a good trade-off.
The price is superb, gives these files my personal seal of approval.

I purchased three of the LuXor nail files one for myself the other two for family members. I will definitely be purchasing more to have as gifts and to keep in my travel bag. The are excellent and do a very good job at smoothing and filing nails. What is most important they are very efficient, so you do not have to make as many "passes" as with regular files. This and the excellent price at Folica make them a great deal! Highly recommended.
Diamonds are a girl's best friend!

Does what it says. Files down nails faster and easier than a regular emery board. A must have for chipped nail care.

This file is not the best but it's nice if you have long nails. I do not. i gave it to my sister.
