Lanza Strait-Line Smoother Straightening Balm is a light, greaseless styling balm that instantly alters curl memory and locks out humidity to eliminate curls and waves.

Enriched with thermo botanicals to enhance moisture content, Straightening Balm increases straightening retention in hair that has been blown straight, and eliminates frizz and unwanted waves between shampoos.  Ingredients include Grape seed Extract, a potent source of antioxidants, Vitamin B5 to add body and shine, and Evening Primrose Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil to relax, nourish and protect hair.  It adds sheen and luster while adding control to curls. Directions:

This product is amazing. I'm Puerto Rican and my hair is wavy and a bit curly after it's washed. My hair stylist recommended this product to me and I purchased it. After washing, I put a nickel amount of this in my hands, rub them together, and crunch/spread evenly into my hair. Then, I brush through it and blow dry. The next day I straighten with a flat iron and I'm done. It leaves my hair so shiny and soft to the touch! I'm not sure what hair texture the last reviewer had, but this product works amazingly well for me. I do not regret purchasing it what-so-ever. My hair's a lot healthier and it keeps a lot of the frizz down-- although I still use another product to keep down the remainder of the frizz after straightening.

So, I was looking for something to compliment and help my straight style and I'm familiar with L'Anza products. I love that L'Anza is a vegan-based product company, blah blah blah. Well, let me tell you...this products sucks bad! No matter the amount of product I use, it makes my hair feel stiff as a board and not pleasant to touch. I've tried to use it different ways. If I use it before I blow-dry my hair, it leaves tough waves that I can't even flat iron out; If I put it in between blow-drying and straightening, it stinks while it "cooks", and if I put it in after straightening, it gives me really bad fly-a-ways. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. It bites. That being said, check out L'Anza's other products. Most of their stuff is really kickass and Earth-friendly.
