I love the way it locks my hair...but it leaves a white residue on my hair when its fully dried. Which is a real pity as I have to wash my hair again.

Obvisly nothing is magic out there...but for the price they sell this product it really does do what it says and at a very good level of efficiency considering the price....as you put the gel on a dread it really does clean up the frizzies right away...and by the time the gel has fully dried the dreads are harder firmer and dryer which in turn makes them look tighter neater and more organised.....I actually used this stuff right after freshly dreading my hair...it was my second time around and I did not have access to any petroleum free gel...and I HATE stuff like murrays thats all just greasy and cakey so i actually had my hair dreaded with pomade...which gave the dreads there shape without any sticky thick waxy look then i blow dryed those dreads and put the tightening gel on and that like hardened these new dreadies into the shape and helped them lock great with no wax......All in all I say this is an excellent product and as an added bonus it SMELLS GREAT your hair like gives off the nicest citrus smell ive had lots of comments specially cus ppl expect dreads to smell........I recommend buying this product to anyone about to dread their hair....or one with dreads already to fix them up...
