I was considering using this product instead of the Chi serum I currently use before flat ironing. Sometimes even a tiny amount of the serum seems to thin out my hair, and I was hoping the silk groom might leave it a little fuller. Does anyone have experience using this on dry hair before flat ironing? Does it provide the same protection as the Chi serum?
