I agree with all of the bad experiences with this product. It is very irritating to the skin. I have been using this product for 5 years and here is what I do...
Don't leave the product on more than 3-4 minutes, start to finish.
Don't brush it down to the skin, just the surface or midway down the hair shaft.
Get into the shower immediately and shampoo it out several times.
After hair dries, use "Sarna" anti itch cream on your beard and neck. Wipe excess out with a towel and comb.
I have to reapply JFM every three days but 3 or 4 minutes is not a big deal.
My scalp and face still burn and itch a little but it is manageable.

I used Just for Men beard color for years with good results..now the formula they use burns my skin like acid was brushed in and turns my face red with itching and burning..is there a beard color that will not burn its customers?
