Because my beard is turning gray faster than the rest of my hair, I have been using this product for several years. Aside from some minor streaking, the result of some hairs taking on more color than others, I am quite pleased with the result. I sometimes get a VERY minor, temporary burning or tingling sensation, but nothing serious. Because of this, I urge everyone to perform the allergy skin patch test before using this product. As long as I continue to get little or no adverse reaction, I'll happily continue to use this product.
Bad Product

Have used the older version of this product with no problems; however, the newer version had caused burns on face around the hairline as well as scalp and face lesions. Be very careful with this product!
Bad Skin Reaction

This product should be called "Burnt Face for Men". Had a severe skin reaction. Interestingly the first time I used it it didn't seem that bad but the second time my face looked like I applied acid aoround my moustache. Beware of this stuff!

Bought this product to color a goatee, it burned my skin and I had to shave it off to treat the burns on my face and chin. Later I tried it just on my mustache thinking it was a fluk, but it again burned my skin. I have no algeries to anything and have tough skin, don't be surprised if you suffer burns like I did. Keep Polysporene handy just in case....
What an oozing itchy mess

That is what my moustach has become. I used the product in the past with no adverse effects. However, I decided to use it again 3 weeks ago. My head was itching for two weeks but the moustach was ok. I reapplied the facial stuff last night, Now I am an itching oozing mess. With my face swelled up and blisters under my moustach that just will not quit oozing this nasty fluid. They say on their site. (The Payoff) It is of course a female. Well no woman is going to be kissing this nasty mess. I had to call my work and explained to them what a fool I am and that because I looked like Homer Simpson I couldn't come in. Tomorrow I will be going to the doctor cause this is sure not going to be gone by then.
Horrible skin reaction

This product gave me a severe skin reaction (contact dermatitis). I have an itching burning sensation that then turned into red blisters that oozed a yellowish fluid. I went to the doctor who prescribed a steroid cream, benadryl and another antihistamine. If you have even remotely sensitive skin STAY AWAY. Worst 9 days of my life!

does not seem to color all the way down to the skon, and darker than it shows, and that was the suggested five minute time. However it works better than other brands.

I have used the hair product for some time with no problems. I just the mustache gel without reading the whole booklet and it blistered the skin under my mustache. Hope it heals quickly. Also I saw where if you used it on eyelashes, it could cause blindness. That is pretty scary. Carefully read the label.

Brushed a small amount on goatee and mustache resulting in constant burning and itching of skin in beard area. Constant weeping of clear fluid from continual blistering reaction. Now into third day of symptoms. Have not consulted a doctor yet.

I had a severe allergic reaction to scalp and face. I had to go to doctor and miss 2 days of work. The instructions for the 48 hour patch test is small. I made the mistake and jumped to STEP 1 in the instruction pamplet. My fault for not reading everything but on the other hand they should make STEP 1 the 48 hour patch test.

I used this product for over a year and all of a sudden, I became allergic to it, requiring a trip to my doctor with very bad blisters on my face.

Great product if you're not allergic. I did something very rare and read the directions and was very glad that I did. The rash and eventual blistering that took place on the test area would have been overwhelming...probably requiring hospitalization had I applied it to my face.
