One star is way too much for this! Had the same reaction as other users here! I am only in Day 3 of this nightmare.
The company owners need to have this stuff applied to their whole face once a month for a year. Something is very wrong and it should be banned!
New Formula Burns My Skin

I'm 45 years old. I first grew a beard and moustache when I was 29. I kept it constantly until I was 42. For the last three years I had my beard I dyed it with Just for Men 2 to 3 times a week (I kept my beard short and my facial har groes pretty fast). After three years I just got tired of constantly dying it. so I cut it off and shaved until last month.
My kids & I went backpacking for a week, and my beard & mustache gre back. They all told me that I looked like "Dad" again so I decided to keep it. I had a little but of Juest for Men left from 3 years ago, and used the last of it. I had no problems. I bought the "new and improved" Just for Men last week. I've used it twice. I thought the reaction I had the first time was a fluke, but it wasn't. This new formula wreaks havoc on my face. I have no idea why they changed the formula nor why they do not go back to the old formula. This new Just for Men is pathetic.

I have used "Just For Men" for over five years. I don't know if the formula was changed or what, but I got second degree chemical burns that required medical attention! Their, not-so-helpful, help-line told be to get an allergy test EVERY TIME I plan to use it!) I told that that would not be a problem since I will never use their product again!
Same as others - major burning with new formula ... alternatives please?

Like many others I used to use this without a problem but the new formula is leaving me with itching, rash and a burning sensation. I have also had the yellow pus and my lips have swollen and are oozing.
I have tested this a few times now and the reaction is the same after each application. I never got this with the other formular which I used for many years.
Can someone advise what creams they are using (I'm in the UK) to help alleviate the symptoms and also does anyone have a good alternative to use?
I'm looking old and white and while the stuff does burn it does cover over the white pretty well. But I need a new product I can't use this stuff any more.
Just for me are you reading this?
PS. I have previously used a product from TrevorSorbie from their male grooming range but I never found it to be very effective - can't seem to find it these days.
Any other alternatives? Thanks.

After using this product ( for mustache) skin gets pealing around mouth and lips cracked. It takes a long time to heal. horrible. I wish I read these reviews before using it. Curious what would be a good alternative.

I too thought it was just me that had a reaction to what must be a new formula. I'm getting severe burns and little seeping area's. I will discontinue at once. This sounds like a CALS.

I have used this product with success for about 2 years. With this new formula, my mouth was all swollen up like I had a fever blister. My skin actually falls off in about three days after usage.
COMPANY...get a clue! Change back to the original ingredients.

2 anyone who is reading this please listen.... this product should be taken off the market. as soon as i brushed it on my beard my skin started 2 burn. the next day i had a horrible skin rash that lasted 6 days. take my advice bc the same will happen 2 you!! 90% of the reviews ive read say the same thing. do not use this harmful product

Like others, I have used this product in the past with good results. On this try, however, things were fine in the morning, but later in the afternoon I had the redness, itching, and burning that everyone else is talking about. Thank goodness I only have a goatee and not full facial hair. It's the "day after" and things are subsiding a bit, but I can't believe how destructive this product is. I think what is MORE amazing is that with one exception, there are NO good reviews on this product. DON'T BUY THIS!!!!

I used "Just For Men" for over 10 years and never had a problem!! Until now that is.. This past 6 months I have totally stopped using just for men since they have obviously changed the formula.. I usually use the mustache and sideburns formula but now possess major bumps on my lips from a allergic reaction from the new formula of Just For Men. I have been trying to get my lips back to the way they were, but it appears to now be permanent. If anyone knows how I get get these allergic reaction bumps down, I would really appreciate it. I may consult an attorney to see If I have a case. I had no idea I had to to a test of product each and every time I used it. I was a loyal customer of this product and now I am scared for life!
this product needs to be taken off the market!

For years I used Just For Men brush in gel with no problem at all. Since I started using the new formula, I have developed an irritation on the tops of my ears. At first I couldn't believe is was related to a product that I had used for so long and which never caused such a condition. With a little cortisone cream, the irritation subsided, and so foolishly I tried using the product again (I was in the habit of doing so for 10+ yrs!) Lo and behold, the irritation worsened and caused incredible itching, redness and weeping of plasma from the skin. It's unconscionable that a company would alter a long-standing product in such an irresponsible manner.
Unsafe dangerous product causes oozing blisters...

I used this product on my moustache for a number of years with good results and no problems. However, with the last two applications from a new box, I've developed the same symptoms described here by others: rash, redness, swelling, oozing blisters, itching and flaking skin. I will never use this product again. Indeed, I decided not to risk my health to this or any other hair coloring product. I shaved off the moustache after having it for almost 40 years...just not worth the risk. I still have some raised, red patches where the 'stache was that I hope will disappear now that the irritant is gone. I notified the chain pharmacy where I bought this toxic product, asking it to pull it from its shelves and to notify appropriate agencies. (It probably won't bother.) I sent along a link to this site along with some of the comments posted here. I intend to directly notify the FDA and local/state health agencies. I suggest that you all do the same. Maybe that will get some results. If the retailers of this product are making a profit on it, they will probably do nothing without a more public outcry. The public should be made aware of the dangers of this product.

I used this product 3 times successfully, and then the last 2 have resulted in chemical burns on scalp and face near hairline. The reaction wasn't immediate, but happened the day after. I thought the first time I had the pain, it was an anomoly, but I can't beat to try it again. What happened??

I recently grew a beard and had some grey in it so I purchased JFM after seening the comercials. the first time I used it the itching was incredible but since this was my first beard I figured it was the hair on my face. The second time I used it the itchings was even worse only this time it burned like I poored some acid on it. I couldnt sleep at night, the skin under the beard turned bright red and I got some serious... I guess boils for lack of a better word. then after about 4 days all of the skin dryed up and peeled off like after I had a very bad sun burn. I will not every use this product again. Im amazed at how something like this can stay on the market. someone needs to sue them for putting out an unsafe product.

My husband had used this product for years. He used it over the weekend...on saturday, on sunday we were @ the Med-check. His scalp, forehead, mustach/beard area swelled up and blistered. I took pictures and am interested in a class action suit if it becomes available. I cant believe they keep this product on the shelf. The Dr. said if he hadn't went to the Dr., it would of only got worse and could of landed him in the hospital. Just for men SUKS!!!!

As many other reviewers have written, JFM Color Gel's "formula change" has resulted in a dangerous, toxic substance that WILL burn your face and cause redness, itching, and oftentimes nasty, oozing pustules to appear. I'm amazed that a lawyer hasn't already filed a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer, or that the FDA hasn't demanded a recall of this product. Unless you are a masochist, don't use it!

Yes same here with JFM, MY GOD THE STATE OF MY FACE. Cant understand why the company would alter their formula, and ruin their worldwide market...Totally crazy thing to do! Although I cannot answer about their GEL beard products???

I have not slept for 3 days because I itch and burn like hell. This is a nightmare, can someone please suggest a solution?

I have been using Just For Men for years. The last box I bought irritates my skin and causes raw spots. This never happened before so it must be something in the new formula.
