Looks like they needed to do more animal testing before releasing this new batch of hair dye. Not the same product at all cause a rash any place it touches. Need to find a new product.

I used JFM on Thursday and was feeling the side effects by Friday morning. After searching the web for answers I think I found a cure. Allergies to PPD's in this product is what's causing the burns and itching. Using Hydrogen peroxide to neutralize (oxidize) these chemicals immediately stopped the itching on my face on Saturday morning, and although I'm still swollen, I think this is the answer that most of us have been looking for.

It is all true -- the burning tips of the ears and lips, etc..And, I can't get rid of the burns....

I'm relieved to have found this site and confirm the cause for my chronic burning, chapped, red and peeling lips. My problem started around the time I began using this product, but I guess I was in denial. The coloring worked fine, but I don't understand how JFM can continue to sell this product when it is obviouly a health hazard. I've also experienced the intense itching described by others, but my main issue is the 24/7 affect on my lips. I'm constantly applying vaseline, but it doesn't seem to help.....yet. I stopped using the product a couple of weeks ago and am hopeful the symptoms go away soon. I'll gladly take the grey back rather than deal with this nightmare.

I used too use this product… I decided to grow a goatee and used the product to take out the gray when I developed two small itchy pimple that developed into an red oozing sore that continued to grow. I try over the counter ointment to try an clear it up but with no result. Finally when to the doctor who prescribed oral antibiotic and acetonide ointment. It clear up the sores after two weeks. I’ve used this on my mustache an had no problems but in reading up on this it appears they changed the formula.

I used these products for quite a while and then one day I developed the same rash and pain that is described here. I too wish there where an alternative other than just shaving.

I followed the instructions and put the mix into my hair ( I should have stopped to think that they put plastic gloves into the box for a reason) for about 4 minutes. I showered it out immediately. I woke up the next morning with what I now consider chemical burns on my forehead and along the sides of my face. I'm writing this after more than a week of applying this stuff and I'm still weeping behind the ears with intense burn like trauma to my face. I have to wash the pillow case and pillow because of it oozin each night. This product is toxic and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I developed vitiligo after using Just For Men. When I called customer services / medical staff of JFM, they acknowledge this fact. They asked me to consult dermatologist.
Now I am stuck with non-reversible skin condition

I first time i used product it worked great but found major skin irriratation, dry ozzing skin and my beard is greyer almost white now. This is the worst product.

I am a 60 plus man who used this product say 20 years ago, sine the gray came into my mustach i tried your product and the results were a terrible burning, severe redness and scabs developed almost immediate the next day after use. I agree with all the negative remarks about your product and its a shame you can't be sued, you are lucky you put the warning label on the product box that this may happen. May I suggest that whatever you put into this product to cause all these symptoms be abolished immediately and you product a friendly product that can be used upon giving the public honest improvement information.

I have used this product as well for a few years. I baught a new box and used it about three weeks ago and developed a horrible rash on my upper lip. I am still having iritation.
I will never use it again.

Thanks JFM. Thanks for sleepless nights and a ichy, burning red face. Like every post I've read here JFM should go back to the old formula or be sued. Not only have I been in pain and discomfort, I also missed work because of it too. I'll never buy this again.

I have been using this product for over 10 years with great success.
Now, since this new formula has come out, since February I have been battling all the same issues as the rest of you. Here is it 8 months later, redness is still there, scabbing, itching, etc. What a nightmare!
Why isn't this on a national sue list!
Should I shave off my mustache??
Anybody find any treatments that will help this?

Can't believe this stuff hasn't been banned yet. I tried it a few months ago for my gotee with the burning/itching/oozing results mentioned numerous times here. So recently, I thought "what the heck, let's give it another shot"...Dumb! Now in addition to having a cold & runny nose (not caused by JFM of course), I now have a hot & runny chin (which was caused by JFM). Unless you enjoy this kind of torture, I'd either shave it, or invest in a permanent marker.

Like others, I'd used this product for years with great results. Very happy, no complaints.
What happened????!!! How could I know that what must be a new formula would be like putting acid on my face! Thank God I only have a small mustache. I'm writing this with my upper lip feeling like I've really burned it. You guys with full beards must be in serious pain!
Is there a lawyer in the house?? If this isn't one for a class-action-suit, I'm not sure what is.

Yup... add me to the list of those who have been burned (literally!) by this product. Fortunately I just have a small mustache and don't have burns all over my face. (Thank God I don't have a beard!). I'd use the product for years with great results. I didn't even realize they had a new formula. But not even a day after using the new product, my upper lip has what resembles a sunburn (or a chemical burn). It's now 4 days later and the burning feeling remains and the skin is dry and peeling, (again like a sunburn). Will I need to shave off my mustache to recover?
I agree... I feel a class-action suit coming on. Didn't the company test this product??!! Do we have a lawyer in the house??

I used this product, like others, about 10 years ago when some gray first developed, but then stopped because I felt like I should accept the beginnings of gray. I recently tried again, and I experienced the burning, itching, and red welts on my face that others have discussed. Nowadays, this products should carry a "skull and crossbones" warning! - Dave

I never had probs with this in the past, but a few days ago I used it and my upper lip is now swollen, blistered, weeping and PAINFUL. I hope someone reads this before buying it. DO NOT BUY IT, even if you have used it before. They've changed something in it.
Why does the FDA allow this to be sold???

I have used JFM several times....this time i have a terrible chemicle burn that has been oozing puss for a week...called the doc a few minutes ago and set up an appointment....then thought I'd do some research on the net and am amazed at how many people have been severly injured by this product..yet it is still on the market???
