The best product for unruly, curly hair!!!!!!!!!! LIFESAVER!!!!!

I am the proud owner of long, thick, extremely curly, frizzy, unruly hair. I have sooo many different products in my bathroom that claim to 'callm unruly hair' and 'enhance curly hair'. I've been through them all. Gells, sprays, foams and everything inbetween. Nothing seemed to hold my curls in place like i wanted it to. The gells made my hair very heavy, and crunchy. My curls were hard which made it look as if my head was full of black, curly sticks. It also left a horrible residue of white flakes that looked horribly similar to severe dandruff.
One day while being sad and depressed over my horrible hair, I came across this product on Folica, and decided to give it a try out of desparation. I went to my local Ulta store and purchased it. When i saw that it was a spray and not a gel, my doubts quickly sat in. I couldnt even imagine how a spray could control my hair. But to my surprise, after i got out the shower with wet hair, i simply pulled the excess water out my hair and sprayed a liberal amount of the product in my hair. 10 minutes later i walked back to the mirror to see what it had done and my hair was SOOOO PERFECT!!! the curls had somehow serparated and didnt become this huge, puffy mess that i was used to seeing!!! they were all perfectly curled, werent crunchy, and the product doesnt leave any kind of residue AND it doesnt use alcohol which i have learned the hard way can damage hair if used too much. I am soooo glad i found this product!! it has changed my life and the way i live with my curly hair!!!!!! thanks sooo much Folica and John Freida!!!
*p.s.* ladies!! if you scrunch your hair right after appyling the product to damp hair, it'll create really pretty waves!! it's amazing!!!!!1

I have natural curly hair and have a problem with limp,frizzy curls. I have tried so many different curly sprays and found that this product makes my curls spiral beautifully. I get so many compliments on my hair when I use this product. Otherwise my curls are limp and frizzy.

My daughter is biracial and has very soft but very curly hair and I have not been able to find anything to tame down the frizz until now. Her hair would look beautiful after bathing and then when it dried it would get very frizzy. I use the shampoo, conditioner, serum and spray and it works wonders. I would highly recommend this line of products.

With my curly hair, I don't need to wash it everyday. After sleeping on it, though, it needs a bit of a revival. This product is perfect for that! When I wake up, I spray this on my frizzy curls and scrunch. They look just as good as new!

so last time i used this product was on slightly damp hair and it didn't do anything special. now i put it on damp hair, followed with chi silk infusion, combed trough and let it air dry WITHOUT touching my hair ( i read that that is the reason for any frizz associated with curly hair) and i am impressed with the results, there is significantly less frizz (and less volume unfortunately, but i settle for quality not quantity of curls, i guess ;)

i bought it because of the good reviews it got here but I'm dissapointed, my hair feels heavy and crunchy, plus i only used it couple times and the bottle is already half way done!

Made my wavy hair pretty curly but left it feeling slightly dry despite the fact that i used the product in conjunction with a reliable shampoo and a deep conditioner that leave me with soft hair :( a bit dissapointed but certainly livens up curls if that's what you're after.

I have naturally curly hair, and very long hair at that. Some mornings I hate taking any time to do my hair. I spray this in and I'm done. I love it! It makes my naturally curly hair so much better. The curls look great, they hold all day, but yes as some other reviewers say it takes a lot of product...especially for my long, thick hair. I think I go through a bottle every two weeks. It is light weight but you have to make sure you run your fingers through after spraying to distribute it. $5 a bottle, not too bad!! I have used this product for years and I will continue to do so.

it makes pretty good waves without a lot of frizz...i don't like having to spray my hair 30 times to get the product in, it takes a pretty long time. i have to use a lot to make it stay which makes some parts kinda stiff, not really bad but i feel like there must be something else that's better out there, so that's what i'm trying to find.

My hair type is naturally wavy while not quite curly so my review is the context of my hair type. Dream Curls works fairly well to create a wave but not a curl. I've used other products that had far more hold and coil. Not Dream Curls, which is softer and can't be used alone. I use a pomade to give it a bid of body and definition.
Pros:
Light, non-greasy, non-residue
Light scent, non abnoxious
Mild and non-irritating to the scalp (like some products can be)
Creates soft, flowing waves
Cons:
Too limp weak for my needs
Requires a LOT of product to make an impact
Requires an additional product to "hold" the curls.
Best used with a defuser to fix the curls.

I've been using John Frieda 5-Minute Manager on my naturally curly hair for years. It keeps my curls under control but doesn't make my hair crispy or flat. For some reason this wonderful product has been discontinued. So I decided to try Dream Curls. It works ok if you don't need to blow dry your hair. If you blow it dry it you end up with HUGE frizzy hair and not dreamy curls at all.

I have used this product many times, and i get the same result every time. my curls are limp and flat, and they get frizzy. I wouldn't recommend it.

This product is amazing, and affordable too! For years I straightened my somewhat wavy, somewhat straight but mostly undecided hair almost every day b/c if I left it alone it looked AWFUL. I never found anything that would enhance the curl and even it out to make it look the way that I wanted it to - until now. Does not make hair sticky or crunchy. I use with the frizz ease hair serum before spraying on. Works great! Highly recommended.

I have soft, naturally curly hair and it looks great wet but when it dries it becomes frizzy and very dry. I tried everything to maintain the soft, shinny curls of my permed hair but nothing worked. Then I tried the Fizzy easy and the Dream curls, along with natural oils like, tea tree and/or olive oil on my wet set hair and it works great!! I no longer have to use a curling iron and my style last three days straigtht with a little spritzing of the Dream Curls each day!! Great product!! I will buy for the rest of my life!!

Just like the last girl who wrote, I have wavy and mostly frizzy hair and I've tried everything! This is the only product that made my frizz turn into purfect curls! My only problem with it is I can't always find it now.

I used this product over and over again, hoping each time to get better results. After I had used about half of the bottle of this product that should be giving me "dream curls", i realized i had been wasting my time and money. It did help a little bit with the frizz, but my curls were still very undefined. I did like the fact that it was super light. It felt like I was spraying water on my hair, unlike most spray gels that weigh hair down. Over all, I would not choose to use this again.

this product works soooooooooo good!! i straighten my hair all the time so i have lost my ringlette curls so when i wanna leave my hair curly i use this!!! its great!

I have spirally thick shoulder length hair that is allways frizzy then I used this product along with John Freida hair serum and the results are great. It's definitelly controled the frizz and was beyond my expectations. You also can't argue with the price I've used products that are close to twenty dollars that haven't given me these results.
