I absolutely LOVE this serum.
I have thick wavy - EXTREMELY FRIZZY- hair. I've been trying several brands and products to tame the frizz, but never found a solution other than relaxing.
This works very well, makes my hair look shiny and helps SO much with the frizz! I use a little when it's damp, a little when it's dry, and that's it. One bottle lasts a long time too, because you don't need to use too much. Just a little and you'll see the difference.
It might not work for some people, but it does for me, and I'll keep using it.

I use this when I straighten my hair before and after. I live in georgia so it is always humid so I carry this everywhere with me and I apply it before I go outside and after. I'm half black and Japanese so this works really great for me. Try not to use big squits because then it will make your hair oily. This product also has my hair shiny and it really doesn't have a smell . :)

My hair is thick, wavy and very frizzy and when I found this product I was so happy that I thought finally something would work for me but it was totally useless. I followed the directions to a T but it left my hair with as much frizz as if I hadn't used anything. Maybe it works for some people but it certainly did NOT work for me!
Not good for really frizzy hair!

MY hair is wavy, thick and really frizzy and I've been trying to find a product for years that would remove the frizz even just for a day but I have yet to find that product. I was really excited when I found this John Frieda Frizz-Ease extra strength formula as it sounded as if it would work even on my hair. I tried it several times as I thought maybe the first time I hadn't done it right and it was no better than the dozens of products I have tried that promised to eliminate my frizz. I was really disappointed and hope some day soon I will find something that actually eliminates my frizz. I don't believe in reviews anymore as so many people say this product works for them. Well, it absolutely DOES NOT work for my hair!

My hair is very coarse, and would stick straight out without a heavy silicone product. This is the heaviest silicone available. It works like a charm in my hair when about 20 other products won't. Don't overdo it - start with a small amount and work up, or it will be greasy. I use about a large pea-sized amount (which would spread to a dime size). If you have fine hair, this product is NOT for you.

I think that this product is amazing! Normally after taking hours tp flat iron my unruly hair, as sonn as i step outside into the horrible florida humidty my hair frizzes up sooo bad, sometimes i think i can hear it! but when i use this before and after flat iron, blowing drying, and curling my hair it never gets frizzy. Not one hair out of place. It soo amazing! I was shockeds since i havent been able to find antyhing that worked so well. I have curly/wavy hair so even when i leave my hair natural it doesn frizz up. I normally put i tiny amount on my ends before i got to sleep and when i wake before i go to school and it works great.
The trick is to not use too much because it is realy concentrated, so if you use to much you risk leaving your hair greasy. I have hair pas my shoulds close to half way donwn my back and i barely use a dime size because im usually left with some serum on my hands.
GET IT, IT WORKS WONDERS!!!
Miracle in a bottle

I bought the extra strength serum not expecting much but boy was I wrong. I have tried tons of products and I think I have finally found my miracle in a bottle. My hair is collar bone length, thick, frizzy, dry, and cut in layers. I use about a nickel size amount and divide my hair into 4 or 5 sections. I also wish the bottle were bigger but will continue to use it.
Great for fine and curly hair!!!

I have long, fine hair which is also curly. I wear it curly sometimes but straighten it with my CHI Nano more times than not. Frizz-Ease Extra Strength Serum works wonders on my hair! Not only does it make my hair smooth and shiny, but it also moisturizes my dry hair and makes it smell great! I have mixed hair (half Asian half black) so it's a challenge to find products that work with my hair type and texture. I have tried every product under the sun from Kerastase serums and shampoos/conditioners to KMS and Joico. The list goes on and on...trust me when I say that this product is a miracle in a bottle and you simply cannot beat the price.

This product does really work well, I use alot though and do wish it came in a bigger bottle. The amount to use does depend how frizzy your hair is, if you use too much your hair can get a little greasy. I put this on after i shower and then let my hair dry naturally and then usually straighten my hair ,i notice a big difference when i straighten without the product. To me it makes straightening a little easier and quicker.

My hair is pretty healthy, but frizzy becuase of my wavy frizzy hair. this stuff makes my hair so soft, even kinda silky! It makes it sooo much easier to straighten my hair w/ my flat iron. It's a must!

im african american, but not with coarse hair. its curly and frizzy, but when i straighten it and add this product at the end, its AMAZING. It feels like normal hair! One tip is to use it after you straighten, not when its soaking wet like it says on the bottle.

Everyone always raves about this product but I did not like it at all. My hair is fine, and very curly. When I used this product it just made my hair greasy. Maybe it works for those with some wave in their hair better, but not for curly hair

Well I wish this came in a large bottle...I love it I buy it over and over (when I run out). I have extremely coarse, curly, kinky, dry, overprocessed, frizzy hair and it really moisturizes and smooths. I have not found a better product.

At first I was using the FRIZ-EASE brand, but it makes your hair feel dirty and very sticky. So I bought this instead when the other stuff ran out. I use it almost every day (use sparingly because there is so little in each jar) and let me tell you it works, I have hair damaged by flat iron and this makes my frizzy dry hair feel smooth and healthy. It is worth every penny!
can NOT live without it!!!

Every other product I've used to control my frizzies and extremely overprocessed dry hair either left it greasy, flat, and smelly but this does just the opposite. I put just a dime-size of this product on the ends of my hair, blow-dry and my hair never looked sooo good. I could go a whole day and still no frizz. I'm in love with the smell which is a light 'shampoo' scent -(unlike others that are strong and perfumey).
I would recommend this to everyone with dry frizzy hair.

I have used Frizz-ease for years and when they came out with the extra strength I bought it immediately. I've read that a lot of people aren't getting the best results with it. This is one of those products that says use a dime size and you literally should only use that amount depending on the length and thickness of your hair. I am multiracial (german, puerto rican, and black) and this product does wonders on my hair. I have tried several products on my hair, ethnic products are too strong for my hair and other products are too weak. I found the right balance with this product.

I bought this and the heat protector for when i straighten my hair..I will say the heat protector makes my hair ULTRA soft. But this made my hair shiny-ish. Not like i had hoped and kinda soft, but not like i wanted either. May b it's just my hair, but idk. I would buy the heat protector agian but not this...

This product is too thick! I didn't like it much because it didn't do much for my damanged, dry, thick, frizzy, puffy,wavy hair.

I have the biggest, frizzest hair out there. This product worked wonders for it. My hair is now frizz free and silky!
