How It Works:

• Two different formulas:

  • Amber to Maple: (P9027-A)

    • for lighter shades of brown hair

    • Low-pH formula features tea leaf infusion and silk protein

  • Chestnut to Espresso: (P9027-C)

    • For darker shades of brown hair

    • Low-pH formula features cocoa bean extract and silk protein

• Silky-lathering formula reveals incredible shine, clarity and luminosity while gently cleansing

• Brings out the multi-dimensional richness of brown hair while enhancing highlights

• Illuminates the rich, multi-dimensional spectrum of brunette tones...without adding or depositing color.

Directions:
Apply shampoo to wet hair and gently massage. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary. For optimal shine, follow with Brilliant Brunette Light Reflecting Conditioner and Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock leave-on perfecting glosser.

Brilliant Brunette - I'm in love!

I was recently in the local drugstore, needing a new bottle of shampoo. The attractive packaging got me to splurge for this shampoo, which claims to bring out natural highlights in brown hair. I figured it was worth a try. Now down to the end of the bottle, my hair is not very much more highlighted than it was when I started, but I love this shampoo!! I have fine hair, so I can't use conditioner, as it weighs down my hair and makes it oily. Most shampoos that i use, after rinsing out, leave my hair nastily tangled and hard to brush, even after I give up and put conditioner in. This shampoo moisturizes my hair, and I can easily comb through it in the shower, and it is soft and manageable when dry, without leaving my hair oily and weighed down. The smell is wonderful, as is the packaging and the shampoo itself (I love the pearly sheen!). I will definitely buy this product again, especially because it is NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS! The Bottom Line: If you want highlights, use a products specifically for that. If you want an awesome shampoo that you will never want to change from, use Brilliant Brunette by John Frieda.
