I found this product to be more than acceptable. I was prepared to use it as a back-up mirror, in-case my old Clairol mirror finally gave out, but I'm using it every morning, instead of my Clairol mirror. I only wish that replacement bulbs were available, rather than send the mirror back to the manufacturer when the bulbs burn out. I was worried about the humming noise, that other customers complained about in their reviews, but haven't noticed any noise at all.

I recently purchased a couple of different high priced (but beautiful looking) lighted mirrors. I ended up returning them both. They just did not do the job at all. I came across this mirror one day just randomly searching the Web. I did not have high hopes, since the price was so reasonable, but to my surprise this mirror met all my needs and works just great! I can actually see what I am doing....I love it! Thanks!

This is the best lighted mirror on the market now. Nothing can beat fluorescent light, as we all have found out. The lights go on instantly; the "on" does not toggle, but stays put so there is no need to keep it pressed down as the instructions suggest. I, too, have purchased many mirrors, trying to find a lighted mirror as good as my old Clairol, or at least a lighted mirror I can use. This is better than my old Clairol. I've never had the side mirrors, but this addition is surprisingly helpful and keep the mirror clean when both sides are closed. Like some, I also would like the mirror to tip top-and-bottom instead of side-to-side, but there are enough graduations on the easel-like back to tip the mirror back and forth for any need. My mirror does not hum (or sing or chat); it’s completely quiet. All in all, if you have exhausted yourself searching the Internet looking for a good makeup mirror as I have, stop looking. This lighted mirror will exceed your expectations.

I'm always a bit nervous about buying on the internet, but I had not been successful in finding a makeup mirror that was anything other than cheaply made junk in the stores. I am very pleased with this product. The lighting is bright, it's not flimsy, and the humming noise that had been mentioned in some of the other reviews was nothing to be concerned about.

My girlfriend was looking for a mirror that would allow flexible adjustment of the light color. This was exactly what she was looking for. Have not used it extensively yet so cannot comment on how it will hold up, but looks more than adequat.

It is the only three panel mirror I could find. The variable light feature is of limited use, but having the side panels I love. It is very old fashioned looking, but as my dressing area is in a closet I did not care how it looks.

Everything works, it's just the incessant conversation-level buzz that the flourescent bulbs makes that will make you wish you'd bought something else.

Great lighting except... can't make side mirrors stay in the position I'd like them to be, and center mirror should be adjustable up and down - not just sideways.

Like the rest of your customers, I shopped everywhere for a make-up mirror that provided excellent lighting for a reasonable price. This mirror provided the best illumination I could find. I would recommend this mirror for anyone who wants to see what they are putting on. Also, other's complained about the noise, which is pretty silly because it's not that loud and eventually you tune it out. So ignore the noise factor, it's a great mirror.

Bought the mirror based on the reviews...and I really liked it. Had a problem with one of the bulbs not working, however. Folica replaced the mirror with a new one and even refunded my shipping. I could not be more pleased.

I have been searching for a good lighted makeup mirror for several years. I've previously been disappointed with the amount of light provided by makeup mirrors. I've been using a desk lamp because that's been the only way I could get a decent amount of light. So, I am thrilled to have found this light. It is perfect for applying makeup.

I bought this mirror to replace my Clairol True to Light Mirror. I am very happy with the Jilbere. The lighting is great. And I feel like the magnification might be slightly higher than the Clairol. It does have a slight hum, but nothing to noticable. All in all...an excellent lighted mirror. Very happy with it!

I had a very hard time finding a lighted mirror, other than the round pedastal mirrors that seem to be everywhere now. This one was perfect for me. I was replacing a Conair mirror similar to this, however this one is nice in that the sides light up all the way up each side. There are no dark areas. It is nice and bright too. I really love it. I really did not need the two side mirrors, but I still love the mirror.

Unlike some reviewers I am recently new make-up mirror user. I am a gal used to the bright lights of modern condo bathrooms and have never needed a make-up mirror until recently moving into an older home. I first bought (as many do) the oval conair lit mirror they sell at target etc. and thought that was as good as it gets. The light was dim and did not let me have much mirror space to view myself. 5 months in the light died and b/c no replacement bulb could be found, I decided to do some research vs. heading back to target. The reviews on Folica were wonderful and accurate. The mirror is great. It lets me see myself in many different lights (I like the brighttest possible personally) and swivels to 5x magnify. Yes it hums a bit but come on - not such a huge problem unless you put your make-up on with someone sleeping 2 feet away. Great product...great online site with fast shipping. I'm thrilled!

I was looking for the Clairol lighted makeup mirror that a girlfriend of mine had when we were in college (and often used). It seems that it's no longer made. Surfing around on the Internet led me to Folica's website. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this product a try. I figured I could return it if I didn't like it or didn't work as I needed it to. Well, I couldn't be more pleased! The various lighting ensures that I apply my makeup perfectly every time.

I have had 2 lighted makeup mirrors similar to this one over the years and recently I had to purchase a new one due to the cord fraying. I could not find one like this anywhere, only the round lighted ones. I bought a round one and immediately returned it to the store. The lighting was very dim and was not true lighting. I read the reviews on this item and decided to give it a try. Definitely worth the money. The lighting is much better than my previous mirrors. There is a slight humming when in operation but you hardly notice it; it is very slight. I definitely recommend this product and it is well worth the money.

The lighting on this is the best I have found available today. I had a terrible time finding a replacement for my old mirror. They only thing I don't like about this mirror is that the wings don't stay where I put them. They flop back all the way. I have to put a spray bottle and can of hairspray behind each panel to get them to stay where I need them to be able to use the side panels.

As a lady in my late 30's, I grew up with a Clariol True to Light makeup mirror. After my first one died a few years ago, I quickly assumed ownership of my sister's. After it died, I was left with the difficult task of trying to replace this awesome mirror. I purchased several only to have to take them back due to the inferior lighting. I realized replacing this mirror was going to be more difficult than I first realized. After much research, I came across the Jilbere de Paris mirror. The mirror arrived promptly and I was amazed at the quality of this product. The lighting is great and the mirror's leave no flaw hidden. I pray this product will still be around when I am shopping for my next mirror.

Last year my favorite tri-panel mirror died and I had to buy one of the oval ones with ghastly lighting. Thankfully, it died within 3 months of purchase. I found this site online and ordered the Jilbere de Paris Tri-Panel Lighted Mirror because of its similarity to my favorite mirror. Within days I had my new mirror. Except for the fact that the middle mirror pivots from left/right instead of turning from top/bottom, it's perfect. The lighting is "daylight" and it works well with no distracting noise. No complaints. It is by far the best make-up mirror on the market today.
