After finally 25 years my old faithful Clariol Mirror finally bit the dust. I've tried to find a replacement, but alas none could be found. One day while searching on the internet I ran across the ad for the Jilbere de Paris Tri Panel Lighted mirror. I read the reviews, but must say I was a little skeptical. So what the heck, why not try it, I've tried everything else. I must say I am extremly pleased with the product I recieved. It does have the little humming noise, but that's no major big deal to me. I would encourage anyone to buy this mirror as it is the best replacement for the Clariol mirror. THANK'S!

I just received my mirror yesterday and all I can say is WOW that was fast. I absolutely love it. It definitely beats the orange lighting in my bathroom. I do hear a slight buzzing noise right when I turn the light on, but come on, it's not that noticeable unless those kind of noises really irritate you. Well, my Mom always said I was good at tuning things out.

OK, I was looking for the perfect lighted mirror so that I could find all those little black, coarse hairs that seem to crop up hourly as we age. This mirror came as close to perfect as I have found. I wish, wish and wish again that the magnification was greater, 8x or 10x, but the 5x does satisfy my needs. I was very happy that this worked, otherwise I was going to have to wait until my mother passed so she could will me her mirror! I bought other mirrors from different stores and returned them all. This one is the real deal and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I am verry satisfied with this lighted mirror when i first tried it out I did notice a slight buzzing sound but as time went on the buzzing has stoped I have been using this mirror for over a month now and wounder how I got along without it for so long. Love it and also have to mention how fast my order was recieved from Folica it took less than a week to recieve . I am a first time customer here and am quiet pleased with the quality of my mirror and the promt sevice i recieved , needless to say I will be back

I am glad I did my homework - purchased the Jilbere de Paris lighted makeup mirror because it had the best reviews. I love it. The daytime light feature is bright just as I hoped it would be. Would definitely recommend it and would purchase this brand again.

Regarding the complaints about the buzzing: It's not that loud or noticeable.
I love this mirror! the unique three way angle lets me see the part of my eyebrow hardest to pluck, the part closest to my temple. The different colors of lighting allow me to see hairs that are lighter in color than the majority. I also really like that it has a magnifying side for improved vision, I like that it flips because I don't always need to see my face up close and personal :]
Fabulous product, definitely worth the money. I have had it for 2 months and I have no complaints.

I was so happy to find this mirror to replace my old Clairol mirror. Even tho' the Clairol mirror still worked after 14 yrs. it was just time... I'm thrilled to find such an excellent replacement. The reviews were also very helpful in my decision. Yes, it does hum a bit loudly, but I can live with it for the short time it's on each day and it's not distracting. It works great!!

I love this three-paneled mirror because I can see what I'm doing when I apply makeup. I use the "day" setting all the time because it offers the brightest light. This mirror helps me took my best.
It Hums, and not even a tune.

I am returning this. Although it would otherwise be a good mirror with bright, white light, the fluoroscent lights HUM loudly. Reminds me of being in math class in high school (the fluorescent light above my desk buzzed). It's a shame because I really needed a good mirror.

Excellent replacement for my old Clairol True-to-Light, and I am well pleased with one exception: I am extremely diappointed that the lights buzz loudly when heated up. My old Clairol was silent no matter how long it was on.

When my extremely old lighted mirror stopped working, I was shocked to find out that the company no longer made the 3 panel mirror anymore. I bought a couple of other mirrors with a different design and regular bulbs. I never cared for them. This mirror is the best replacement yet. The lights are not hot and it gives multiple settings for day, night, etc..I am pleased so far.

It's ok. Natural light is much better, but this will work. It does make a noise, but I am not in front of it long enough to bother me.

Mirror works well and does the job. Only complaint is that after a few minutes when the lights heat up the vibration is so loud you have to turn the lights off, otherwise still good.

This is a wonderful makeup mirror... the best!! For about 35 years I had the True to Light mirror and loved it. Then it needed replacing so I began shopping. I purchased another mirror and was sorely disappointed when I tried it at home. After returning it, I checked online and found your Jilbčre de Paris Tri Panel Lighted Makeup Mirror. I ordered it immediately and was so pleased when it arrived. Finally, I had a mirror that reflected a clear, bright and accurate image. As one gets older and your eyesight isn't as good as it was, the hairs that need tweezing turn white and are more difficult to see. With the different lighting choices, an almost impossible job is now easily accomplished.

My Clairol True to Light Mirror went kaput after 15+ years and I was sorely disappointed to find they no longer made it. I tried purchasing three other mirrors but the lighting was too low...frustrating. The Jilbere light is great!! It offers the same light settings as the old Clairol version and has the benefit of the side mirrors. I have not noticed any buzzing noise at all. I enthusiastically encourage others to try the Jilbere light if you're looking for something similar to the old Clairol model-- this one's a keeper!

Almost perfect mirror except the side of panel board that need adjusting (hold) otherwise the light and mirror are excellent for my face. I love it !

The mirror is great. It doesn't make noise and it is bright enough to see, what more can you ask for.It is perfect, better than the ones you get in stores that light all around.
