I have been using punking color for six years now, and it never fails me. This pic is in fake light, in the sun it is shiny and beautiful. The color of my hair changes from dark blue to light turquoise depending on the lighting.

I'm 13, and my mother is very skeptical about using hair color products on me, and did not like the idea. I finally convinced her to dye my hair with this, and she said it was the easiest hair coloring out of the ones we have done in the past. I used the fire color, highlighting about 5 strips of hair, 2 of which were previously bleached. I have (a bit on the darker side) brown hair, and it turned out very nice. My mom was extatic about the way it turned out, and I was so happy. I ahve very thin, fine hair, and it holds color very well, so it faded to a light pink after about 3 months, and completely washed out in the next month or so. It smells like grapes, and is very easy to use. My mom trusted me, and let me dye it myself this time! I would HIGHLY reccomend this to ANYONE very very great hair color!

I've used punky now for about two years straight
(always bleached my hair first due to my hair is my natural hair color is a light brown)
I've never had a problem with it, the colors sticks and stays much longer then any other hair color i have used, the color is vibrant and its seal able and easy to save for touch ups\
the only thing i say is there black (ebony) fades into a purple, quite fast
I highly recommend dark tulip its a great color (in my picture dark tulip and ebony)
over all there is nothing better I would recommend then jeromme russell punky

This product is really the best!!!
i had tried raw and color fiend before, raw not working at all, and color fiend fading after 3 washes.
I dyed my top layer violet. At first, it was exactly the same as the dye, where I had people asking me if me hair was black in bad light. It faded to a lighter, bright color after a couple of days. I'm not sure how long it lasts b/c i re-dyed it for school after a week, but it didnt show any signs of washing out soon.
WARNING----It will stain EVERYTHING it touches, as does the water you use to wash it out.
i made my last by blow-drying it for 30 min after letting it set for 15.
also, when i re-dyed it, i had to use alot less.
this is an amazing product, also w/ a great smell. ^_^
first pic---before dye
second pic---right after second dye, fades to a brighter color
Very nice

I am really pleased with this product. I bought the turquoise and it turned out WONDERFUL. the stuff smells like scented markers and the consistency makes it really easy to use.
I didn't have a whole lot of problems with it making a mess, my shower water runs blue but it hasn't left much of a stain on the tub. The first picture was straight after I dyed it (USE LOTS OF VASELINE, unless you want a blue forehead like me). The next pic is a couple of days after, it faded a bit but the color still looks fantastic, it's now gone a greeny color. Very good product overall :) I'll use it again!
Amazing

Ive tried many different colors so far. Here's what I know.
Lagoon blue, looks half decent but fades HORRIBLY. If your looking for a good neon pink Rose red is really good. spring green is a wonderful neon color and apple greens a bit darker. You HAVE to bleach your hair or it wont work, or have it chemically treated of some sort cause when ever I dye it it never takes to my roots, only the bleached stuff. Always be prepared for a mess. when ever I dye my hair I wear gloves when dying it and in the shower because it desperately dyes the skin. (ESPECIALLY the pink ;p)

This dye is so fun and easy to use! It smells like blueberries!!! Just remember to lighten the hair you want to dye first, and wear rubber gloves and old clothes. I used the spring green and turquoise.
rich, long lasting color, but stains EVERYTHING!

Rich, vibrant color that lasts longer than the rest of the "non-natural" colors. You can even extend the length of time by leaving in overnight (won't damage your hair) or sitting under a blow dryer until it turns gold (yes, I said gold. There is something in the mix that after it gets heated and dries, turns gold). Only problem, it stains everything your hair comes in contact with when it's wet or you sweat even just a little. The collars of countless shirts are now permanently plum. Pillowcases will match your hair and your towels will match too! For me, it's worth it. I just wear darker colored shirts the first couple of weeks...

i mixed lagoon blue && turquoise. the dye wasn't messy at all when properly used. I have had the color in my hair for about three months now and all i can say is that the color isn't brassy at all like other dyes...but fades into a lighter nicer color. after your first go you are going to want to experiment with other colors fast.

This color looks magenta, it has purplelish tones, really beautiful! I love it!!! It lasts way longer than that other brand & it looks more vibrant!!!

I'm shocked Punky hasn't put Manic Panic and N'Rage out of business by now. Punky is the ONLY one who knows how to make hair dye that doesn't wash out in 2 shampoos. Seriously, who wants to re-dye their hair every other day?!

I really liked the blue. it didn't make my hair fell all fried or anything. it also lasts a while and i usually re apply every several weeks. just don't go in chlorinated water--it makes it fade to a really ugly color. so if you live somewhere where you shower with cholorinated water, use bottled water, so save up your money and avoid getting your hair wet in pools.

I admit i was a Manic Panic user, and wanted to be. they had this great web site and all these pictures. But the fact is, the results were horrible! I even bought the amplified formula and it washed out within a week and i was left with this tie dyed looking hair. Which sucks cause im no hippie! So I tried Punky color and it lasted over a month before it faded! And when it faded, it was faded the same all over. Its easy to refresh the color, and it doesn't cost nearly as much as Manic Panic.

This is all my hairdresser uses on anyone. (Well if they want Punky colors, that is.) It is the best I have ever used or has ever been used on me. Colors are vivid and true, hair doesn't feel damaged or dry, and the color lasts! Just try not to shampoo your hair too much w/reds. They fade quicker.

i've never dyed my hair before but the color of this stuff is amazing. it's exactly what i wanted. just make sure you bleach your hair first (if you have dark hair)! i am ordering more colors now and i can't wait to do it again. oh, and a warning: it leaves a nice tint in your tub/shower. but it comes off pretty easily after a couple good scrubs. and it smells good!!

I used poppy red & flamigo pink on 100% 24" real human hair platinum blonde extensions & they turned out great. The red turned out to be the exact color I pictured it to be & I wanted the pink to be more of a hot neon pink but it turned out more like a deep magenta pink but Im plannning on washing the pink ones with shampoo so maybe it can fade into a hotter pink. But still a great color though. The smell of i t was pleasing, smelt like grapes. & just becareful using it, might want to keep some tilex spray near you. & I suggest rinsing out & cleaning your tools u use in a stainless steel sink[ kitchen sink].

Being a cosmetologist I feel that this product was a great color! Not as messy as other brands i.e. color bleeding, for the porosity of my hair it lasted for around 2 1/2 weeks then turned in to a cool light greenish shade, fast delivery. I would definitely buy this again.

I've tried other products but my hair would just be dull and not enough vibrant color. I don't need to bleach my hair out with Punky just lay the Vermillion Red over my own hair and it's so beautiful!!! I recommend it to anyone, I absolutely love it and will continue to use it!!

I used Punky Color for a few years and it was the only thing I ever really loved. I had tried manic and it just wasnt as vibrant. From Punky, I've used Alpine green, rose red, pink flamingo, turquoise, lagoon blue, apple green and purple.
Make sure you bleach before using the product. I tried it on my friends brown hair and it didnt show at all.
The blues and greens will most deff. stain your hair even months after so if you decide to grow out your hair, you will have to live with a slightly tinged effect.
Smells great and leaves hair soft and glossy. 5 stars!
The first picture is the turquoise (no photo effects)
The second is a mix of colors. Thats the other thing, these dyes mix together well and blend into each other when applied side by side if you mush them into each other a bit.
