I wasn't sure after reading some of the reviews about purchasing this curler.
I just received it in the mail and put it to use right away.
Really amazing little tool!! I just followed the simple instructions on the box and got the results I was looking for. I can see how some people might not like this curler because it takes a little more patience but that makes the it all that more precise.
I love the cool retro design of the eyelash curler. It's small and compact and fits right into my makeup bag.
The plastic pads are easy to replace and you can get free refills by calling the number right on the package.

I love the way my lashes look when I'm done but it takes forever to do. Not only that but be prepared to get on your hands and knees to retrieve the tiny silicone pad because you need to squeeze so hard that it consistantly pops out. I've lost all of my replacement pads and they don't seem to sell any refills. The idea is great and so is the portability but your hand will tire and you'll get frustrated digging around your makeup bag for curler pads.

Regular curlers couldn't get all my lashes, plus they pulled some of my lashes in the wrong direction. JPL Curler allowed me to curl my lashes in the direction I wanted them to go. I also have a problem area where a few of my lashes don't want to curl along with the rest. The JPL curler allows me to target that area making all my lashes more even. It even gets the new growth easily so they aren't sticking out and pocking your eye.
To sum it up, I don't know how I've lived without it.

I have used this curler for a long time - with or without the blowdryer trick - it works well for me. It does take some getting used to though. Allow a bit more time than using the usual evil clamp ones. But it is worth it! Your corner lashes will really POP!

It is a bit stiff, so while you are trying to get the little bits of lashes (which are already in a delicate spot), you have to squeeze the life out of it....a little scary:(

I thought I would take a chance since there were more good reviews than bad but I made a mistake. I wish it worked but it really does not do anything except give you an unnatural bend and thats only when you hold it down for 10-15 sec, hold it for less time and its does nothing at all. I don't recommend this curler I was better off with my oldey but goody Shu Uemura.

I love this eyelash curler....it really gets those hard to curl lashes at the lateral edge of the eye.......or just the middle lashes and even those tiny inside ones.....really a must have tool

I was excited to try this product because I can never get my outside lashes to curl w/ a conventional curler. Unfortunately, this tool didn't do the trick either.

This lash curler gives you the most control since you curl small sections of lashes at a time. This is especially great if, like me, you have short lashes which grow straight down. I used this curler and then applied mascara and it looked like I had glued on fake lashes. I highly recommend it.

This product does not perform any better than the $5.00 lash curlers you can get at any retail store, my lashes are very hard to curl at outer edges and this curler is a little more difficult to use with the same or less result than regular curlers. Too pricey with poor performance.

This is a great tool to curl eyelashes in the older woman with excess eyelid skin.The other eyelash curlers would incorporate my skin in the process!!No fun I assure you. Thanks for the great product.

I am a makeup artist and I think this is one product EVERYONE should have. You have total control and complete customization! Curl them all or curl just a few.... it's finally up to us!!

My lashes are hard to reach and resistant to curling. This curler had my lashes looking wonderful with little effort! It is a bonus that the curler is small enough to easily carry in my purse and a snap to clean.

This curler is great. I purchased this curler because i usually only like to give the outside of my lashes a curl for that 'cat-eye' look. ... it tends to look over done when i curl all my lashes, plus i can never reach the corners with a standard eye lash curler...this curler really opens up your eyes and makes them look so big...its great i just love this curler and cant live without it!

As a general-use curler, I found this curler to be tedious and disappointing. It takes so long to do so little curling, even with the trick of heating it with a blowdryer, that I don't like to bother using it. I'll stick to my Shiseido curler under the blowdryer any day. I'd give it a below average rating, except that this little tool is good for curling the corner lashes that other curlers don't get to. So it's good for specialized use. The search for the perfect curler continues.

This is the best eye lash curler ever, works great!!! You have to be careful with it though, will curl eyelashes like no other curler.
