I was really excited about this Curler, as I always seem to pull out a lash or two when using a conventional curler. However, this product did nothing at all for my lashes.
Is an OK product.

I have had a mini eyelash curler for a while now. The one I recently bought was a gift. Why is it that most people that I know that own one do not use it. My Mary Kay director had only used hers once and we bought it in July 2004. At first it is a novelty but the novelty of the product wears off.

The idea behind this is really sound and I need something small like this to reach my deep set eyes, but the product doesn't hold together due to a design flaw. The case just pushes in to close against the battery. The plastic is not strong and after a few months won't make contact with the battery. It needs to screw close.

I understand the concept of a heated eye lash curler, but this one does not work. My eyelashes are straighter then when I started.

When the eyelash curler works it works great; however, heating element seems to go bad in less than a month. I have been through several in the last few months. At $16.00 it can become expensive to replace. I am hoping the company will make improvements.

This product was recommended to me by a top makeup artist at a workshop for Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants. You must use it after you have applied mascara (Mary Kay's Endless Performance is my favorite). Hold the curler to your lashes and press towards you. Then roll it up. This is the only thing that has ever worked on my horrible eye lashes. The only draw back is that it goes through a lot of batteries, but those can be recycled. www.marykay.com/kellig
It won't curl

I've tried this every way possible. Even threw out a brand new battery and put in a new one. This thing does NOT curl my lashes. I'd get the same effect if I held them up for a few seconds. A real waste of money for me.
