this eyelash curler works only if you have light colored eyelashes because the curler itself is black, making it really hard to see what you're curling when you have dark hair. You just end up curling (pinching!!) your eyelids!

I saw all the enthusiastic reviews, but then I tried it and all it does is crimp my eyelashes with a sharp bend. Oh, well.

i haven't invested in expensive curlers. ive tried revlon and sally hanson, they curl but THIS ONE, go curl lifts my lashes up soooo much more! it gets all the lashes and makes my eyes look bigger. definitely would buy again.. well im gona get refills
on the down side, it may curl a bit too much for some of you ( i personally like it cus i have short lashes). it curls upwards almost directly from your roots so it doesn't curl up naturally with a curve

This is by far the smallest eyelash curler ever! It took me a few seconds to figure out how to work it, but it is really easy to use once you know how to do it. I had been looking for this eyelash curler for over a year but could not find it in Canada.

Well, i am so glad that i bought this product. whether you have short stubby lashes or long lashes this product works. It travels well in a small cosmetic bag. I liked it so well, i purchased another one for my daughters Christmas stocking, and a spare just to keep in my travel bag. that way i never have to be without it.
Try one you will like it.

This is the best eyelash curler I've used for getting a long lasting, natural curl. The problem is it's made from cheap plastic and breaks after about six months of use, no matter how careful I am with it. I've gone through two now and will not purchase another. I'm going back to the Shu Uemera curler.
Doesn't really work for me...

I read the reviews about this eyelash curler and was very excited to receive it. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. I've been using eyelash curlers since I'm a teen (many years ago), and this one is among the worst. It barely curled my lashes at all. I tried using it both with and without mascara. My normal use is to first curl my lashes without mascara, then put one coat on and curl again. Then another, etc. I achieve an amazing, thick and curled lash look with this technique. Many regular eyelash curlers don't curl well, and I return those. It's hard to find a curler that really works. But I expected more from Japonesque.
I was going to return it, but did not get the chance, and think my time may have run out. I have to read Folica's return policy. Perhaps I still have time.

I love this curler because it's effective and compact. I use the Trish McEvoy eyelash curler, then the heated Eyecurl II to curl my lashes when I'm going out, but in a pinch this compact eyecurler is great. I will continue to keep this curler for emergency use.
A must have for long eyelashes

I am a male that wears mascara daily. I have very long eyelashes that always brush the glass in my glasses, so you see my problem. My sister suggested the eyelash curler might solve my proplem. My sister gave me this curler because she did not use it anymore. I could not believe how great it curled my lashes. It really made my lashes standout. This is a great product I would recomend to anyone. Love it Steve

This is the best eyelash curler I have used. I even used the Oprah recommendation of the Sheumera, but the Japonesque surpasses that one for a lot less money. The nice thing about this curler is that it is small, so it's easy to carry in your handbag as well for touch-ups on the go.

I never, ever submit reviews of my online purchases. I'm too lazy and too inefficient with time mgmt. Anyway, this product will be my first. Basically, this is the MOST impractical, not to mention impractical product I have ever purchased. I would not even think of being mean enough to give it away to charity. Unless you don't really want your lashes curled, please save your $$. Beyond disappointed.

This eyelash curler is the best I have ever used. My eyelashes would not curl and I have tried every type of curler including the heated ones. This curler makes my stubborn eyelashes curl with minimal effort.

This bad boy was an great addition to my makeup tool collection. It curls my lashes and doesn't pinch. It's small enough to throw in my cosmetic bag and the priced well enough to purchase two..one for home and one on the road!

I'm pretty sure my eyelashes will never curl. :-P I bought this the Go Curl because of the great reviews it received and it didn't do any better than regular curlers. Just wanted to let everyone know out there that have impossible-to-curl eyelashes that this might not do the trick.

Very compact. Does not crimp lashes as a typical eyelash curler, actually seems to make my lashes look more naturally curled. I plan on getting more as gifts!
