dont try and touch to see if its ready you will burn yourself wait 1 minute before you straighten it. Also make sure your hair is completly dry cause it will tangle and burm trust me i learned the hard way

if you're new to this NEVER EVER straighten wet or damp. believe it or not it's better to straighten hair that's dryer.
if it's wet; you WILL cook it!
hit it w/ a good spritz of hair tonic like bumble & bumble tonic and blow dry cool till dry.
let it sit a bit; then straighten.
if you're in a hurry- well just give yourself more hair time cos it's not worth being on time w/ bad hair!

If you want to flip you should pull away from your head and backward for best results
