My shoulder-length hair is naturally light gray, thick, coarse, and wiry/curly. I color then highlight it, so it is “big” with color as well. With the Bion my hair goes from fat and frizzy to sleek and straight in 8 minutes. At the highest heat setting the Bion actually CONDITIONS WITHOUT PRODUCT. My hair is better conditioned than using a ceramic ionic hairdryer alone (or natural dry). This iron straightens in ONE PASS through my hair. The box says Bion DRIES DAMP HAIR. The iron KEEPS HAIR STRAIGHT IN HOT, HUMID WEATHER when I use a little hairspray. Superb product.

Japanese Ceramic Digital Hair Straightener is a truly great product. It only takes me 15 minutes or less in the morning to get me hair done now. Hair look straight and silky smooth all day. It’s like going to the hair salon every day. Even so it’s $199 – it’s a huge money saver in a long run. I get my hair done professionally every day now without payingg salon prices. I love it!

I bought this iron with the hope that it would make my hair silky, shiny, and beautiful. I was disappointed. Yes, it straightened my hair, but I did not receive the dramatic results I expected after reading all the great reviews. I have an $85 HAI ceramic flat iron and it works much better than this $190 iron. This iron is way too expensive and not worth the $190. Get the $85 HAI iron - it is cheaper and works much better.

WOW! The bion fine ceramic straightener is awesome! Not only did it sraighten my sister's thick wavy hair, but it made it so smooth, shiny, and soft! And for my hair... just as awesome! I have long, thick, and partially wavy hair and it takes soo long to style and dry with a round brush! The bion straightener is great b/c it curls the hair under while it smooths out the waves! SOO worth the money! Trust me I AM A SKEPTIC when it comes to ordering things online and actually this was my first internet purchase! :)

This strightener is amazing! I have thick, coarse, and very long hair and i was not sure it would work so well. I was so surprised after I used Bion straightener becasue it straightened my hair so well. It eliminated frizz, and made my hair silky smooth and shiny! I recommend this iron to anyone looking for a well made straightener!

After a friend of mine had told me about her Japanese hair straightener and how great it is, I had to try it out myself. I have thick, wavy and frizzy hair so I wanted to see how it work. A simple switch to turn it on and within seconds, it was ready to use. After seeing the amazing results, I had to buy my own and I did. I LOVE IT! It heats up quickly, has a long cord that doesn't tangle, and gives everything a straightener should give. I definitely recommend this. Forget about all my other straighteners, Bion is the one.

Due to humid weather in Florida, I have had ugly curly, rainy day frizzy hair all my life and now I don't because of Bion. I can't tell you or anyone how much I love this hair straightener.

I have long really curly hair, and I always borrow my friend's Bion straightener because it works so well, and since I just got some money I am hoping to by my own... this product is amazing.

I purchased Bion straightener for my daughter which had long very curly hair. She needs the hottest setting. The variable control is great and allows me to use it on my other daughter's blond more fragile hair with terrific results. Very well made - very impressive.

I have medium length, thick wavy hair that is really frizzy. one day my friend wanted to straighten it using her Bion hair straightner and i was very happy with the results! my hair was the straightest i've ever seen it and it was so shiny and silky! i never thought an iron can do that without any products or anything.
My life has been changed by this iron

One month ago I went to the hair salon to have my hair cut, my stylist straightned my hair with an nice looking flat iron. I loved how quickly the iron worked, and how smooth my hair got. I told her that my flat iron (Conair) would never be able to do that. I had to iron the same strip of hair several times to get it straight!
She showed me her iron and said it was the Bion Japanese ceramic digital hair straightener.
She explained that Bion has digital temperature control, so you can adjust the heat setting according to your hair type (fine hair on lower settings, coarse or curly hair on the higher settings). She said out of all the professional flat irons she has ever used, this was her favorite. I asked her to order one for me.
When I picked the iron from her one week later, I was so excited! I took a strand of hair about 2 inches wide, placed the iron at the root portion, clamped down, and pulled the iron downwards. Perfectly straight hair! I was able to do all my hair in less than 10 minutes (and I have thick, long hair!) I was so impressed.
Bion is so easy to use, it is light, you can control the heat on this iron. Most irons have just one temperature, which isn't going to work on everyone's hair. (like my Conair -- it wouldn't get hot enough to straighten my hair in one pass, so I'd have to go over it again and again). Plus the hotter the iron, the smoother your hair looks -- no more frizzies. I also like that this iron has a heavy duty power cord that's long enough to stretch. Other irons I've looked at had very limited reach from the outlet. This one has a cord of roughly 9 feet, which is perfect when I have to reach something away from the outlet area.

I have waist length hair. I had previously used a straightener bought from Wal-Mart and wasn't impressed. My stylist friend recommended Bion to me. This is the BEST thing she ever did for me!
This product has heat settings and has tips about which setting to use for your specific hair type. Start off on a lower heat and work your way up if you need it. I did one small section around my face first and was completely shocked at the results. My hair was completely straight and there wasn't even a wave to indicate that I had a perm! And it worked so fast! I didn't have to do one section more than once. Even attempting to do this process on my own with very long and thick hair, it didn't take me more than 10 minutes.
I am so happy I didn't cheap out and get a different product. I can't imagine that another one would work as well. If you want straight hair, save yourself money in the end and buy this product first. You won't regret one penny!

I've had a few hair straighteners for the past few years, CHI, Conair, Hot Tools, HAI... They were good but can't compared with Bion! It makes my naturaly wavy and curly hair really silky STRAIGHT! Plus, it has ionic ceramic plates which is suppose to be better for your hair than regular ceramic. I use it almost every day, my hair is still HEALTHY!
Another feature I like is digital temperature display, It tells you exactly what temperature you are at. My Mom's hair is thinner than mine, so she can use it at lower temperature setting.
This iron is GREAT! Better than my sister's CHI
