I just receieved my iron this morning and let me tell you. IT IS ONE of THE BEST! My hair is normal texture and long and curly and it straightened in like 30 minutes because I put the iron at a low temperature setting. It is definately worth the money! It's very light and heats up very very fast. It's much better than conair! Imagine my hair like the girls you see in television. They're hair always seemed so perfect and not frizzy! Well that is exactly how my hair looks: PERFECT! I have been dreaming of this iron coming in the mail and had high expectations for it and it EXCEEDED my expectations! My parents are very picky when it comes to buying me things that might cause damage to my hair. My dad stayed up late researching this iron and comparing it to others and found this is the best one on the market. Better than the CHI! BION doesn't damage the hair at all as long as you put it at the right temperature (for me 140 degrees!) You can not be stupid and put it at extremely high temperatures and not expect your hair to fry if you're hair is normal texture like mine. Anyways, I LOVE this IRON. IT is the one of the BEST early EID GIFTS I have receieved. So what are you waiting for? BUY IT if you are looking to have nice straight, soft, silky, and shiny perfect hair!!!

This is simply the best flat iron I have used. I own 2 Chi flat irons, a Hot Tools, a Babyliss and a Solano, and this is better than all of them. Definitely worth the price.

THIS STRAIGHTNER IS SOOO GREAT!!
but i did think it would be a lil better after reading the other reviews.
although, i have to say that there is not other straightner better [that iv tried so far]
the only problem is that when ur hair is behind your ear it curls up to the shape. or in a pony tail.. otherwise its the bestttt
lil tip:: to get it straightest and shiniest for the longest:: straighten it and then put a littl bit of hairsray in it and go over it again.. it maeks it striaght and smooth and holds the striaghtness.
for my thick, curly hair this works the BESTTTT
no more hair-burning conair straightners
its definatly worth every penny and it heats up lightning fast. but reading the reviews i thought it would cool faster too.

i just want to say for someone who has had curly hair all my life to be able to straighten it soo quickly and have it turn out nice is awesome!!! this product may be pricey but yo you can use this for the rest of your life and you are good to go. it is the bomb!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bion!! Just rec'd today and took my hair (that has been up all day in a ponytail with that horrible ponytail bump) and tested it out right away! Perfect!! So easy to use and I swear the plates are so smooth it just glided over my hair like nothing! When I thought it might snag my hair somehow a couple of times, it just kept going! I am Asian and have slightly, slightly wave-y mid-back length hair that has undergone Thermal Reconditioning in the past years but am now trying to grow it out. The Bion produced the EXACT same, wonderfully straight and smooth results as the Thermal Reconditioning and a salon blow-out! My hair is soft and shiny and it only took me all of 5 minutes! I still can't believe it! It's definitely worth every penny because my cheap Conair definitely can't come near the same results!

it's unbelievable what this iron can do... i iron my long, thick, wavy/curly, weird hair and after 10 minutes, my hair is straight, shiny, nice and smooth. it's definitely worth the money. it also saves time. i've never had a ceramic iron before and im glad my first one rocks.

This is an excellent hair straightener, but I am not sure if it’s actually made in Japan because nowhere on the box or the product does it indicate the country of origin. Maybe only the ceramic heating element is made in Japan. Although it works as advertised, the only complaint that I have is that the outside surface of the straightener also gets very hot. If the outside surface remained cool to the touch, this would be an even better product.

after reading everyones coments on this product i am SURE i will get one... my hair is kinda wavy but im hoping that after the Japaneeze hair straitener my hair will not be dry and low anymore!!

I love this one. I'm very impressed! It's so easy to handle/manage, and heats up really fast. It's also so much lighter than my old one. It's so nice to be able to straigten my hair with one hand now. This also means less chance of getting burned!

This may be expensive but it is worth it. I was worried about spending sooo much money on a straightening iron but it's worth it.

I recently purchased the bion flat iron, and I have to say that it is simply amazing! It is worth every penny. The great thing is that it's so versatile, you can use it to create different hairstyles and still have the silky hair that you desire!

Ok, before you read this...just know this is THE iron, look no further. Not only did it make my long curly course hair straight in a mere 30 minutes, but i was amazed my how compact and easy to use it was. This falt iron truly captures every characteristic that a good iron should have. I am genuinly happy with this puchase and even though $190 is a bit steep, you'll recognize that this iron will pay for itself, when you see the results of the first use! Some people below said this iron isn't worth the money, ect..but i totally disagree! Knowing how hard it is to manage long unruly frizzy course curly hair, i can say that this iron really works!! look no further!!

I have the hot tools iron but this doesn't even compare. This is the best iron ever. It makes my hair straight and smooth. I love it. My hair has never looked better and my hair doesn't frizz.

I would be lying if I said this was a bad straightener, but for the price, it's nothing THAT great. I used it on damp hair and had to run it through again an hour later because my hair was still poofy. On dry hair though, I end up with perfectly stick straight hair. Unless you have really coarse and hard to handle hair, save your money. If you have normal, healthy hair, get a cheaper straightener...it will still get the job done.

the price, the way it works like all the rest and then your hair gets curly again in 15 minutes. be smart here ladies, the priciest isn't always the best.

So i read this site and immediately fell in love with this straightener! i HAD to have it!! ordered it...and it finally came today!! about an hour ago to be exact...i plugged it in and it was ready, fully-heated within bout 10 seconds?!! my hair is halfway down my back, thick, and very crAZy curly...it only took one swipe and my hair was stick straight?!!! it only took me 15 mintues to do my whole head (which is aLOT of hair!), apposed to 45 min - 1hour with my previous straightener!ugh?...when i was done i turned it off and it cooled down relatively quickly..which is EXCELLENT (wouldnt wanna catch anything on fire:)) PLUS! its very pretty for all of u visual people out there... this is the BEST straightener i have ever used! SO AMAZING! my hair is soft and i look hot...lol(jk)...i've have never seen my hair this flat before and ive tried a BUNCH of things to get my hair straight...u should buy this!! its worth it!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! :)
