I purched the Bion along with the Sedu thinking more money better job and I was wrong. The Bion took a long time to straighten my hair and it was pulling my hair as I went along. I sent it back. I kept the Sedu which works great for half the price.
best product so far !!

i used to have babyliss pro, but my hair used to get ripped because it would get caught in the crack. and also, it was so heavy, that after a while, my wrists would hurt. but bion is so amazing...it is light, quick and pain free. also, the way it is angled allows for greater flexibility and styling. very good product. worth every penny !!

I received my bion on the mail and was very surprise to see how light in weight it was. I have had other flat irons and they were heavier so i was a bit skeptical. But it did the trick, it got my hair super straight and shiny....It is a really good straightening iron. It really locks your hair follicles for a really smooth & shiny look. I live in Vancouver and it rains alot and my hair did not go frizzy! I can't wait to take it to the caribean this spring!

Honestly I was expecting more. They got my attention with the idea of using it on wet hair.
Hair looks gorgeous, healthy, shiny, and totally straight, and stays this way until next wash. But having as much hair as I do, plus it is curly, it takes for ever to do it from wet hair to dry. I still have to blow dry and then use the iron. My hair feels awesome, it is soft, it does not cause dryness, but does not save time as others said...

I just got this iron today and it is great! It took me 10 minutes to iron my hair compared to 30 minutes with my $90 wigo iron and it didn't pull at my hair at all. Its also really light and easy to manuever. I would recommend this iron to everyone.

I bought this 2 days ago after reading all the excellent reviews. But I was hoping this could replace my blowdryer--no such luck! It does smooth and straighten nicely but takes twice as long since you have to use such tiny sections of hair--really small sections! My hair is not course but is rather curly. I had to go over the same piece of hair like 3 times....
I would still use a ceramic straightner but not such an expensive one--I'm sure the others can do the same job!
It's a miracle!!!!!!!!

By far the best $200 I ever spent! I have extremely curly hair, and never thought the day would come where I could actually get a brush through it when it’s dry. Well thanks to the Bion, my hair is now super straight! I had given up on having straight hair until I found this site and read about the Bion. I was a little nervous about paying the big bucks for something that might not work on my extreme curls, but the minute it arrived I tried it out and loved it. I just add a little frizz-ease for extra help and I can’t believe how soft, shiny and healthy my hair looks and feels. The Bion glides through my hair with ease, no pulling or getting caught! I love my new hair so much, I wish I could put up a before and after picture. My friends and family are amazed...it really is a miracle. Get out you credit card and buy it!!! Oh yeah and the Folica people are great, super fast shipping...even to Canada.

I'm on my second BION straightening iron and it stopped working just like the first one. I returned the first BION iron because it wasn't heating up anymore after using just 2 or 3 times. I returned it to FOLICA, which they replaced immediately. The second one worked until recently, after about two months it no longer gets hot. I am now going to send it back and replace it with another brand. I wouldn't buy this one, not for 200 dollars.

I've never used a flat iron before but I am thrilled with the results I get from this product. It heats up very, very quickly and is easy to use. I'm an expert at blow drying my curly hair straight but turned to a flat iron so that I could get the same look in less time and with more 'staying' power (especially in humid conditions). This product is great and along with all the conditioners I use in preparation (necessary with all flat irons), produces perfect results that last!

If you can swing the big bucks, this is the straightener to buy. I have used the Hai, Chi (half decent straightening, but frizz), Vidal Sassoon Wet to Dry (aweful), and Hot Tools (singed my hair and damaged). The Bion is a worthwhile investment. This straightener actually made my hair healthier and smoothed the fuzzy ends to the point that I can forego a trim and let my hair grow. This week has been a rainy one and my hair looks the same as when I flat ironed. Look no further...

My daughter is bi-racial. She has the curls of an African-American and the silkiness of an Anglo-American. She has tried every kind of oil, spray, conditioner, shampoo to try to control the frizz in her hair. She had been using another brand of flat iron and was okay with it. Then I bought her the Bion. Life is not the same! Her old iron would straighten her hair but leave it frizzy. The Bion straightens and silkens her hair. She said this is the first time ever that she can flip her hair around and have it go back like it started. My daughter is absolutely thrilled with her new iron and will never use another. We HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who wants to straighten their hair.

First off, I'm a guy with long hair. I'm in a band and have very wavy hair. I tried all sorts of different products, and a conair hair straightener. None of it really worked well and it took very long. All that other stuff is worth its weight in crap now that i have this Bion one. Sure its pricey but it works. If you want straight hair and have the cash. Get this one. Our bands website is hybridfactor.com, might as well plug the us while i'm plugging the bion right?

This hair straightener is really good I've had it for approximately 6 weeks and I am really satisfied with the results. My hair is really straight and has this shiny look to it after. Strongly recommend this product.

wow this is the best straightener ive ever used. its totally worth the money and its been really rainy and stuff here lately and i've been outside even when its sprinkling and my hair is still stick straight. ive never been able to get my hair to look like this unless i go to the salon and spend over 100 dollars. i highly reccomend this product.

This iron is excellent. It heats up in seconds. My hair is curly and it leave my hair straight in just minutes. Other irons didn't work as this one. It's well workth it.

I've just received the bion turbo iron and my wife loves it! She's had many irons such as CHI, etc. She said this is the lightest iron and it doesn't feel fatigue when she does her hair. The angled feature is another plus. Overall, it is a iron that is functinal, ergonomic, and high quality. At last I can stop buying her useless irons and waste money.

I received my Bion flat iron about two weeks ago and it has been great. I have long, course and curly hair. With the Bion flat iron you would never know it. Before the Bion iron, I bought a Hot Tools ceramic iron for $39.99. It worked well smoothing my hair for the first two months but then the ceramic coating started to wear off. I would burn myself frequently and there were small gaps between the plate and the handle where my hair would frequently get caught. With the Bion, the plates are completely ceramic and are guaranteed not to wear or scratch. Also, it does not pull out my hair like the Hot Tools. The Bion heats up within a minute and is ready to use. I love it. I wish it would make my hair a little more shiny like the Hot Tools did but I still love it. I highly recommend it.
