Good, but....

It honestly doesn't seem to hold AS WELL as the Got2b Freeze Spray. (Both of which come in the strange 'airhorn' style bottle...)
The Freeze Spray, for instance, makes your hair hard as a rock and it literally freezes.
The Blast spray, while it smells better, doesn't give the same result. It does indeed give a nice solid hold... Or 'glue'... But it's a lot less stiff, and way more natural looking. The Got2b makes your hair look like a wax sculpture, this leaves your hair looking natural.
But that's also it's downfall, since once you spray it, your hair pretty much falls flat in an hour or so. It wears off.
This is a really great hairspray that's in the wrong can, and marketed the wrong way. It's way too mild for the results it gives. But it's still good. Just not a competitor with the Got2b can.
great

This is the BEST PRODUCT I've used and believe me I've tried them all. Not even Bedhead or Redken can beat it.
I have super fine, straight hair that requires a massive amount of product. The key is to use as much as you need to obtain the effect you want. The more you use the stiffer it gets and it washes out so easily that you don't have any left-over residue. And it nourishes your hair too. My hair is spiked as well and I get compliments all the time from people of all walks of life. I love the product!!!
Disappointment

This product talks big but delivers little. The worst part is the nozzle clogs after every time I try to use it (since I bought a 2-pack I am stuck with 2 cans of hairspray I don't like until I finish them up). Redken Headset 25 is MUCH better (the best I've ever used, but it's a pump, not an aerosol can). Not only does this spray not spike or texturize my hair into a frozen shape, it doesn't even hold a regular soft hairstyle. Very disappointing.
Doesn't hold as long as I'd like

Bought this on a whim after getting a very messy, random chin-length bob cut last week. I use Blast on dry roots for volume and it is very good for this; however, just like any other spray, after a few hours it starts to settle out and go limp. I spray it on upside-down (my head is upside-down, not the can :-) and stay bent over until it dries, and it gives a great, big, messy look. About 4 hours later I have messy ends with a relatively flat top of the style. So, I'm not sure this is a repeat product for me or not.
Not really!

I was about to buy more of my favorite hard-hold hairspray when I decided to try this spray "adhesive" because it sounded good. It sounded like it would hold stronger & firmer than my favorite brand (Redken Headset #25 non-aerosol pump spray). Disappointingly, it doesn't. To me this is a light-hold version of a good hairspray, with medium-hold capability if you keep layering it on. After I finish this can I'm going back to Redken Headset - I have short hair that I like to spike & Headset really keeps everything stuck exactly where & how you want it in just a few pumps. With Headset you can also layer up the hold. Redken costs a couple dollars more than Joico Blast but I think it's way worth it. What's nice about Blast is there's no irritating scent, but there's also no irritating scent in Redken Headset either. Sorry Joico, I'm not sold on the Blast. Nice try though.

All you Punks out there if you want a fierce hold then this is the stuff you need to use. Up here in Canada this is the only glue we use to get the extreme spikes. I'll post some pic's soon for everyone to see.
