Hello,

I am an African American woman with relatively fine hair.
My hair stylist recommended this iron and the results are really great. Your hair has shine, gleam and defintely straight. I was so extremely impressed that I bought my own.
You must be careful, when I started using this at home I had the iron way to high! This is professional grade iron and goes up to 400 degrees. If you have this too high you will burn out your hair, which I did to my "bangs" by accident. (I was addicted to using it daily and overtime they broke off.)

One of my good friends, is Asian with "virgin" hair - no color, or perms - perfectstrands, used this to polish off her hair when she wants a slight gleam and she loved this iron.

Again it really does work, but DO NOT have it to high or you'll burn out your hair by accident. My hair dresser recommended around 120 or so. Good Luck!

This iron saved my trip in Miami! I am an african- american woman with coarse, relaxed, and color- treated hair. I went swimming in the hotel pool, was able to use the hotel dryer with a comb to dry my hair and used this flat iron to straighten my hair. My hair looked like I came from a salon when I was done. It caught every short hair in my bobbed hair. I was completely satisified.

The results you describe can be attributed to most any flat iron on wet hair!
Especially hair that is fine or color treated.

Do Not use this flat iron (or any other than is not 'wet / dry') on hair that is not 100% dry.

this flat iron is the worst i have ever used i hate it. it frys and burns my roots and gives me the worst split ends. its not big enough to straighten my hair and it makes it all fizzy. trust me do not waist your money on this terrible flat iron.
