It is worth it. I was using an old iron (gold plate) before I purchased InfraShine. Big improvment. I like how it flashes when it is ready. It heats in approx. 30 sec. It heats to 400 degrees. I have thick curly hair and I don't need to use the highest setting. I am glad I bought the 2 inch. I can straighten my hair in 7-10 minutes. Drying my hair takes the longest. The ceramic is a little better than the gold plates. It pulls less...more smooth. Travel case is a MUST. Who has time to wait for it to cool off. The travel case safely stores the hot iron. The only improvment would be an automatic shutoff after not using it for 10 minutes.

I love this iron it makes my hair soooooooooooooo straight!
Everyone should have one. my friend uses it at her salon & everyone loves it there as well.
Splurge... or not even i think it is very well priced.

I bought the infrashine 2" straightener because it was recommended by my stylist. It did the job but it took just as long as my regular straigtener I bought from a beauty supply store for $50. Also, the 2" plate is like a paddle and it is too big to get to the roots of the hair, so it still looks wavy and there is nothing you can do about it.

The infrashine 2" is the best i couldnt imagine using n e thing else now It takes no time at all and Leaves your hair silky smooth and shiny and you dont have to try n redo it as you would with cheap straightners and blowdrying and using a curling iron which still dosent do it!! Anyone with natural curly hair or really wavy frizzy should buy this product and they will not regret it im sure of it also u can try heat protectant serums before towel drying or blowdrying and before straightning helps alot to because with 400 degrees u can expect some damage as with anything else u would use TY for making this product i recomend this to everyone!!!

this is seriously the best straightner in the world! i have medium thick hair and its wavy and wen i used this straightner ppl thought i had gotten a japenese hair straighting perm. my hair didnt even look like i had natural wavy hair it looked like i had natural straight hair. it was soft and shiny. its amazing i recommend it to anyone. it seriously works. i have the 2inch one and i love it. i dont even think it ruins yur hair.

My step mom bought this product about 4 months ago for my niece...which we all use it!! Its a great product and gets the job done i know myself its truly amazing i have long natural curly hair which is so hard to even try to straighten by blow drying n using a curling iron and i had bought cheap straightner irons that never worked right and im about to buy my own infrashine to much trouble going 10 miles out the way everytime i want to straighten my hair but if your have hard to straighten frizzy hair this will be the product for you leaves your hair silky n shiny looks like a models hair which ill be gettin mine alot cheaper than she did she paid 180 buxs for hers but was way worth it...for the person who said it sucked there crazy ur hair does not get caught and it dosent fry it either so dont delay try one today!!!!Heres some pic's of before and after and u dont have to wash ur hair everyday for it to be straight and u can even straighten without blow drying So enjoy your infrashine i know i did and will!!!!

My best friends dad owns a salon and uses infrashine straighteners.... i love them! i had the one inch but dropped it in water after the warranty is over... it is much better than the chi and you may use it when your hair when it is damp and it causes no damage... i have thick long curly hair and many straighteners do not straighten my hair such as the chi but i love my infrashine straighteners!!

I have long thick curly hair & this product definitely straightens it and even better, keeps my hair looking shiny rather than dry or brittle. I do need to go over each strand a couple of times but the results are worth it. A great product!! Ceramic is the way to go!!

my friend angela had this and your hair gets caught up in it. and it totally fries your hair- it basicly sucks.. get a chi! their worth the money
