I have had this flat iron for a few years now. It has done nothing but wonders for me. I have taken it to South Africa and back and it still does the job. The only problem that I have is that I think it doesn't warm up as much as it used to when I first got it, but honestly speaking, I really mistreated this flat iron. I would accidentally leave it on for an entire day without noticing (this happened several times), and didn't treat it with the respect that it deserves. Anyone who is talking crap on this flat iron just doesn't know how to straighten their hair right. I give this product two thumbs up because it deserves it! No ifs and buts about it.
Just turned "5-0" and finally love my hair!

I "splurged" and bought myself this flat iron for my 50th birthday. I love how the younger generation is wearing their long, straight, shiny hair these days, but us older gals, well...........it's not all that pretty out there! But, finally, last year I got 10 inches of hair lopped off, and have struggled with how to wear my hair since. I didn't want to look like the average 50 year old woman with dry, wavy, short hair. I hadn't a clue about flat irons, just loved how my stylist made my hair look, but could never do it myself. The 1.5 inch Infrashine was out of stock at Folica, so I decided to get the 2 inch. I was scared, when I saw it, thinking it was too big. But, it works! I love it. I can sleep on my styled hair, and go two or three days before having to wash it and style it again! Watch out 18 year olds! Us 50 year olds now know the secret! Ha ha! Thanks for all of your reviews. It got my curiosity up, and now I feel much younger and prettier knowing what you guys do! Thanks again. This is fun! Older gals......TRY IT!:)

My hair is very long and thick - the Infrashine 2" flat iron is perfect! I upgraded to this one when my 1" iron died and would recommend it to anyone.

I am a cosmetologist so having a good straightener is important. I already owned one and decided to get another because the price was excellent on folica.com and they even delivered it really fast! I have used many straighteners and own quite a few, paul mitchells etc. and InfraShine is quite simply the BEST!

OMG! Where do I start? Well, I will start off by saying that this is the BEST straightener EVER! It keeps my naturally curly, and potentially frizzy hair straight all day. Sometimes it can get frizzy, but that's from the weather most times. I just love it! I've had it for a year now. It's great! Hey, if a 13 year old like me can use it, you sure as hell can! I had the worst frizzy hair ever! I live in Hawaii so its super humid over there. I had gotten my hair chemically straightned, and that didn't even help. A friend introduced me to the infra shine, and I loved it so much that I had to get one of my own. I have had it for about 3 years now, and I use it almost every day, even though my hair stays straight and shiny until I get it wet again. Its the best, and I would not recommend anything but the infra shine!! It is more than worth the money. Don't waste money trying cheaper products, just go for the best.

i had this straightner for about 2-3 YEARS!!!!! it is awesome. i just broke it recently and ordered the solano shaphire and its sux! now im ordering the infrashine cuz i cant live without it! its so good and leaves my hair so shiny. i highly recomend this straightner

I have very thick and dry hair. When i used this product.. everyone thought i got it done at a salon. It truly is a life saver, because it heats up to 400F. Doesnt burn hair, like the cheap hair straighters.

I purchased the 2" infrashine flat iron and love it. My hair gets frizzy when its humid or rains.
after using the infrashine my hair stays straight and beautiful the whole time. Its so much easier to style it. I can let my hair air dry and then fix it later. I have 2 small kids and it saves me so much time. I highly recommend it. Its so easy to use and works fast.
I had bought cheaper products in the past but the Infrashine is well worth the money.

I am a (25) year old women from Mexico with incredibly frizzy hair. I have used chemical relaxers for about ten years now. After trying this wonderful iron I probably won't ever use the relexers that have damaged my hair for so long. I reeeeaaly love it!

okay first of all... those who rate this flat iron low apparently dont know how to use this wonderful invention! second im not a hair stylist, but i know how to work my iron. i love it ive had it for about almost 5 years and it works great on my hair!

First off.. This iron is like my purse I can't go anywhere without it. I originally bought the small one and it worked great I don't have curly hair but I don't have straight hair either. I have the kind of hair that fizzes no matter what with any type of moisture. I can honeslty say that this iron is like my daily straightening perm. Anyhow, my friends liked it soo much and were too cheap to get their own they stole mine!!!! Sure enough, I went and bought another one. Now the price that they are selling it here is a little steep I didn't pay that much for mine. I bought it at a local Beauty Supply store for $125 the big one. It's true every where I go people compliment me on my hair. They all think I get it done at a salon until I tell them no I did it myself. I should honestly become a sponsor or something because I honestly convinced about 10 people to buy it. If you are second guessing it I ADVISE you, I have had this straightener for about 5 years and it's the best thing that they have ever created. Without a doubt worth the money!!!!

my hair has never looked so good, I wish I bought this a long time ago. everyone I see comments on how great it looks, I love it!! it's very easy to use and doesn't take a lot of time earlier (compared to my old one that never got hot enough to work really well)...

My roomate and I both bought one of these straightners. She has naturally curly hair and I have straight but with some waves and VERY thick. It has done wonders for our hair! We have both tried a lot of different straightners and this one beats them all. We have gotten so many compliments on our hair and it really helps out with frizz.

This straightner really works! I was at a friends house, and I tried her one inch.It had actually worked within like 10 minutes.I had a conair at home, but to be honest...it sucked! I have the unmanagable,wavy,thick,and frizzy hair.My hair was still fairly straight for almost 3 days,even after showering-no joke! So I found it online, and was about to buy it, and saw the reviews for the two inch, and found that the only difference was that this one was made especially for thick hair.I am so there-and if you were smart, you would be too!

It is worth it. I was using an old iron (gold plate) before I purchased InfraShine. Big improvment. I like how it flashes when it is ready. It heats in approx. 30 sec. It heats to 400 degrees. I have thick curly hair and I don't need to use the highest setting. I am glad I bought the 2 inch. I can straighten my hair in 7-10 minutes. Drying my hair takes the longest. The ceramic is a little better than the gold plates. It pulls less...more smooth. Travel case is a MUST. Who has time to wait for it to cool off. The travel case safely stores the hot iron. The only improvment would be an automatic shutoff after not using it for 10 minutes.
