This Flat iron has changed my life! My friend had one and it worked so much better than my conair! Now I have thick curly hair and it used to take 45 mins to straighten. With infrashine it takes 10 mins!!!!

I have owned an Infra Shine straightner since I was a senior in high school. It has been 4 years of using it everyday, plus letting my friends use it, and it has finally broken! I just ordered my new one this month, and it works even better than my old one, thats probably because I beat on my old one, but anyway, you get the point. TRUST ME, this is the best straightner I have tried. I have curly hair, and by the end of the day, this is the only straightner that keeps my hair silky and straight! I have tried other brands like CHI, and they just don't get as hot as the Infra Shine, and you need a very hot iron for straightening thick and or curly hair. BUY THIS AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY REGRETS!!!!!

I love this product. It does so much better than a 20.00 straightener. It is worth every penny! My hair straightens so much better and feels so much softer. I'm definitely glad I made this purchase.

Ok, let me tell you something. If you are shopping for hair straightners or flat irons, you might as well stop here. This is the best straightner around. Why buy a CHI or Sedu and pay so much if you could get one for less? This straightner works. I have had mine for about 9 months. Recently the plate got loose after my cat batted it off the counter. I am waiting for my new one to arrive. I was actually devestaed when my plate came loose. I love this straigthner but am anxiously waiting for my new one of the exact same brand. After years of dealing with straightners that are only okay I am glad I have found this one. Thank you Unil for making an awesome straightner!

All I have to say if THANK YOU UNIL! This hair straightener has forever changed my hair. My hair is naturally frizzy and wavy. My roommate in college owned one and I asked her if I could borrow it. OH MY GOD! My hair was finally straight and shiny! I got tired of asking to borrow hers and found it online and bought it. I use it everyday and it has not damaged my hair at all! The best part with it is that I can use the Unil to flip my hair and curl it. However after moving several times and dropping it on the ground, my Unil doesn't work properly now, which is why I'm buying my second one. People have asked me if I was crazy for paying so much for a hair straightener. I can't put a price on my self esteem. Thank you so much again!

I have coarse thick dark hair that goes PERM-like if I don't iron it. I switched to flat irons a couple years ago on the recommendation of my stylist and have tried lots of brands. I really like the Infrashine and it has held up well. Recently i dropped the iron and the heat plates came loose. I got my husband to glue it up (Gorilla glue?) and its been fine since. I'm looking around for a backup right now in case the glue won't hold the plates. I recommend this, the 1" is definitely easier to handle.

I purchased the Infra-shine flat iron probably three to four years ago. It works as well as it did the first time I used it. All my friends who obtain very top of the line flat-irons and straightning shampoo's always remind me to bring my infra-shine 2''. One of my friends Sabrina is Dominican and has extreamly nappy curly hair right from the root. I use this on her head and her hair which normally needs to be placed in rollers then ironed is suddenly shiny straight and beautiful. I love this iron, and would recomend it to everyone and anyone.

This product really straightens and shines my hair. Even when I wake up in the morning, it is still the same, unlike when I used to blow dry, my hair was never really straight, and always very frizzy. I have very curly hair.
So I would recomend this product.

I bought this for $100 and within 6 months I started having problems with the cord. I wish I would have saved my receipt. Other then that it worked very well on my long wavy hair.

If you want a good flat iron get the 1" infrashine. I've used all of the major flatirons out there and it's by far the best. All the bad reviews it gets are from people that don't have the slightest clue on how to use a flat iron. I'm a stylist, I hear this stuff a lot. If you have fine hair, don't turn a flat iron to 400 degrees and put in on your hair!!!! Of course it's going to dry it out and cause breakage!!!!!!! If you are a stylist or are planning on it, the infrashine is a must!

I have to say the I love this product. I had a Unil flat iron before and loved it. When it finally quit working 3 years later I looked for another. I did not realize that the name had changed to Infrashine and tried others but nothing worked for me. I have thick course hair and like the new style of wavy curls and it works great for both straight and the curls. I is the best for me and the settings going up to 400 really helps my thick course hair. Give it a try.

I recently purchased the one inch infra-shine flat iron for my second daughter and received it three days later. Even though I purchased it for her I happen to own one too and tried hers to make sure it worked. It was exactly what I had ordered and worked perfectly. Plus the price was even better then what a hair style place was selling it for by me. I am very happy with this company and can only hope that other customers have the same luck.

I have a Unil, my mom has a Chi, and she's always trying to borrow mine. For me, having used the Chi after the Unil, I was disappointed. The Chi made the ends of my hair look messy, or at least compared to the Unil. And seriously every time I go to a new hair stylist they are so confused when they see my hair curl up under water. I got my Unil like 3 years ago and the trooper that it is, has worked perfectly 2-3 times a week ever since. Just recently I've had cord troubles where I have to wiggle the cord to make the light stay on, but it's 3 years old so it's expected I guess. Plus, this baby has heat settings, and they go from like 200 to 400 degrees. Great flat iron, bottom line.

Paid $120 for this iron. It worked great until the plates came unglued. It is now totally useless and finding the company information was too much of a headache.

I have a small bussines where I do the "express iron straightening" here in Mexico, I have the three sizes of iron, and I have no problem with any of them, but I never pull the cord, and never storage if they are hot, you should treat it carefully, and they are going to be the best irons you ever had, better than the CHI. Like many of the other reviewers, I loved this iron until within a year the cord shorted out near the unit. And YES, finding any company info or a replacement cord has been impossible. Kind of expensive for a year!

I straigthen my hair twice a week and it works great each time. The ceramic plates still look like new, no peeling, no scratches, no burnt product residue. Some split ends but that comes with any appliance, curling iron, blow drying.
