I don't normally post reviews but had to for this because it's a wonderful product!! I don't like to spend too much time dealing with my hair in the morning. I have super curly hair and for days when I'd like a little control, I can quickly run the iron through and in one pass, my hair's straight--like magic! Additionally, the iron heats up *extremely* quickly which is particularly handy when I'm in a rush. Great product and highly recommended.

I have used this iron for about 1 year. I had to have one after a stylist used it to straighten and flip my hair at a salon. It leaves it silky straight and shiny. I also use it for loose curls and have received lots of compliments. It does damage a little. I always have used it everyday at 400 degrees so that may be why. The only problem I have had is the cord causing it to not work sometimes. The cord is now weird and you have to hold the cord a certain way for the iron to stay on. I bought a Gama flat iron when this started happening since they do not sell infrashine irons in Italy and that thing does not even compare to the infrashine. It pulls my hair and it does not get as straight and leaves it with lots of damage. Probably need to order another one of these or maybe I will try the Sedu.

MY NORMAL ROUTINE AT THE DOMINICAN SALON THAT I GO TO IS: WASH, ROLLERS, AND THEN BLOW DRYER. ONE DAY I WANTED TO TRY A BRAZILIAN SALON AND THEY JUST WASHED MY HAIR, BLOW DRYED IT A LITTLE, AND USED THE INFRA-SHINE FLAT IRON AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS THE BESTTTTTTTTTTTT :) MY HAIR LOOKED ASIAN!!! NO LIE. I HAVE CURLY HAIR, IT'S NOT COARSE OR ANYTHING, BUT THE GIRLS WHO DID HAVE COARSE CURLY HAIR LEFT THE SALON W/ ASIAN LOOKING HAIR TOO!!! I REALLY REALLY LOVED THIS FLAT IRON. I AM GOING TO ORDER ONE TODAY :)
PS. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE OR BENEFITS FROM A 2" OR 1"??? DOES THE LITTLE GREEN THING HAVE ANYTHING, LIKE AN OIL B/C MY HAIR WAS SO BEAUTIFUL FOR LIKE 7 DAYS STRAIGHT.

I absolutely love this hair iron. It heats up in 5 seconds, and gets the job done quick. I could even curl my hair which comes out gorgeous. i would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!

Many poeple are saying they had cord problems or the plates broke. The plates dont just fall off, you have to drop the iron. If you drop it, dont blame the company! Also, the cord braking? Nope!
I have had this straightener for about 3.5 years and it is fantastic. My friends use Conair and CHI. Conair is probably one of the cheapest/worst brands ever and CHI does not get nearly as hot as th InfraShine and DEFINENTLY is not worth the price.
My advice, if you have the money SPEND IT WISELY.

I was so scared to shop online but i was unable to find this exact flat iron in stores.
I went online found it ON FOLICA the exact one I needed and that my hair stylist recommended since my hair is a frizzy spiral curly mess.

It works very well ... I have used a chi before and it is just as good when it comes to straightening. I've found that the straightness doesn't last as long though. (My hair looks nice and flat right after I tsriaghten it and after about an house it poofs up a little) I have naturally curly hair and it only take one quick swipe and its straight as a board! It doesn't grip or pull hair out and all in all I really love it. Hope this helps.

I've had this straightener for a little over a year and it still is working GREAT! I read some of the reveiws about being careful with the cord so I try not to hold it by the cord so much. Other than that I have no complaints about this straightener.

This flat iron heats up quick, is light weight, straightens perfect, and DOESN'T SNAG YOUR HAIR (which is everyones concern)! I couldn't have asked for a better straightener, it's worth every penny.

I have super thick, super curly hair and need HEAT to tame my tresses. This straightening iron is the best I've ever used, and the ceramic surface minimizes static and flyaways as well, and gives my hair such a nice shine. Highly recommend.

This costly iron was doing a fantastice job with my thick, wavy and frizzy mop. But one little drop off the counter and forget the plates staying in place. Although a nice flat iron not durable enough for the price. I think I will try something new.

I've had the infrashine flat-iron for while and I love the fact that it has temperture volumes. It leaves my hair very straight (of course) and very shiny. The only downfall that I think it has is that the cord connected to the flat-iron, after a while can start getting loose, and makes it hard for the flat-iron to turned on. But other than that its a really good flat-iron. Highly recommed!!!

The infra shine iron is AWESOME! I have frizzy hair that seems to get larger throughout the day. This iron keeps my hair strait until I wash it and it is fast! I get complements all of the time on my strait hair!

Love the iron, but power cord broke after a year. Called the company and they directed me to www.salonart.biz, where I purchased a replacement cord for $10.

I just love this product. It has been a godsend for my frizzy hair. I have the extra long cord/salon type and unfortunately the cord has been accidentally pulled a few times. The connection has been poor (needing me to adjust the connection for it to work) and now it won't work at all! Despite this, I still think it's the best thing for my hair. I plan to order another one--this time I'll be more careful with the cord.

This is the absolute best ceramic iron I've ever used. Van Michaels Salon sells this product for $150.00! This iron really heats up and it smooths away all my frizzies and gives me bone straight hair - and it leave it sooooo soft. Trust me - it's a great deal and you will be 100% satisfied.
