Infrashine dries out your hair
Is it really true that the Infrashine is bad for you hair? Does it really dry your hair out and make it unhealthy?

Chi vs Infrashine
I am planning on getting a flat iron. I'm either going to get a Chi or Infrashine. I have a friend that has a Chi 1'' flat iron and it works really good. The Infrashine flat irons are soo much cheaper though. My hair is thick and curly/wavy.My hair is also very dry and spit-ended from my old cheap Revlon straightener. I really dont know which one works better. I heard that the Chi doesnt dry out your hair at all...and thats what I need. Does the Infrashine dry out your hair? I want something that will staighten my curls out but leave it very soft and healthy. + something that doesnt make me brokeCHI OR INFRASHINE

Take it from someone who has used both the CHI and the Infrashine and who has worked in a hair salon- the two products are very similar however, if something happens to your CHI it is EXTREMELY hard to return even though it comes with a warranty. Many times with the Infrashine you can return it where you bought it and they will give you a new one as long as your warranty has not expired (but check the store's return/exchange policy before purchasing)and you don't have to go through the manufacturer. I have thick and curly/wavy hair too and the CHI tends to "catch" some of my hairs and you cannot control the temperature like you can on the Infrashine. As far as which one doesn't dry out your hair, well it's important to use any flat iron with products that protect your hair from heat damage and if your hair tends to be dry, I would suggest buying a serum that you put on your hair before and/or after you straighten..find the right system that works for your hair. Hope this was helpful!

the ceramic infrashine makes my hair look really dry. what should i do?
im trying to find a good straightening iron that doesn't take that long to straighten my hair even though my hair is frizzy and thick. also one that doesn't damage my hair as bad as others do.

you can either get a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (if you dont already have them) and then put some sort of heat protectent serum or softening serum (i reccomend biosilk or osis x-tra flat) before you blow dry.

i'v been using these hair striaghtners everyday for 1 year and 3months on 260-340F and my hair stills looks very healthy and shiny, but the only problem are the split ends. well these are my tips for shiny healthy looking hair: -find a good conditioner.. im currently using treseme colour protect..but there are also many gd conditioners out there such as loreal(cant remebr what its called but tis a orange bottle, herbal essences- brilliant shine, fructis( the green bottle- i dont rember which one i usd)..wel basicaly jst experiment - when conditioning hair, put on alot :) n leave it it for 5mins(well the longer the better) in shower. in tht 5mins+ u could be washing your body or somting else tht u would usualy do in the shower.. so tht u wouldnt have to wait -make sure u wash the conditioner off properly and give it a blast of cold water - put on a leave in conditioner then spray with heat defence spray then blow dry - before starighting hair, protect. i like using VO5 tame&shine heat defence taming spray ( red bottle ) its light n non sticky, n makes my hair soft. - look our on the shelves for an oil that makes your hair shiny and soft.. im not too sure what they are called as mine is from veitnam but its called rojzy jiali, i cant find any in england so maybe america? there is some out there its jst tht they have a differnt name, i think it might be called hair serum. wel wen using it dont put on too much as ur hair would look greasy. ..wel im finaly done, i dont know if my tips are confusing to u or not. but yeh try it ;) works for me. but again, i wash my hair evry day :/ so because i straightn n condition my hair evryday its not as damgaged?

I did the same exact thing, well actually I did not my cousin did. My stepdad is mr. fixit and even he could not fix it. I am in the process of surfing the internet to find the same one at a great price. It sucks, but I think buying a new one is what you would have to do.
